I want to draw your attention to a community on facebook dedicated to praying daily for the persecuted church. I listened to an interview with Tom Doyle of 8thirty8 and was very inspired:

Tom is a missionary to Islamic nations like Syria and Iraq. He shares many powerful accounts of Muslims coming to faith in Jesus in those countries.

uses verses 8:38-39 of Romans as its focus to pray for the persecuted church/saints in danger/prison.
