Christianity Is Not the Only Way to Heaven, Prominent Presbyterian Pastor Says

Leader of the second largest congregation in the Presbyterian Church (USA), Rev. Shannon Johnson Kershner has declared that Christianity is not the only way to heaven.

Kershner, 45, who leads the 5,500-member Fourth Presbyterian Church in Chicago, Illinois, expressed her belief in a podcast with the Chicago Sun-Times after she was asked the question "Is Christianity the only way to heaven?"

"No," Kershner replied bluntly.

"God's not a Christian. I mean, we are ... For me, the Christian tradition is the way to understand God and my relationship with the world and other humans and it's for the way for me to move into that relationship but I'm not about to say what God can and cannot do in other ways and with other spiritual experiences," she explained.

Feminism's roots go deep!

The fruit is visible but the root is hidden. So it is with much of what we see before our very eyes. Feminism is at the root. Do you see the fruit? Eve saw it. She loved it, partook of it, and gave some to her husband.

Now, there are many a tree in the garden where satan has been slithering in the midst. And they all have their root in feminism. Here are some names of those trees which have sprung up from that diabolical root feminism.

Abortion, rebellion, divorce, adultery, fornication, pornography, humanism, and so much more.

Feminism is at the root of unbelief. Not believing the Word of God. Feminism is at the root of women having authority roles such as a pastor, a president, a CEO, etc...etc.

And what is worse is that as Jeremiah wrote so long ago in chapter 5,

"...my people love to have it so." "And what will ye do in the end thereof."

As proof that this is so, just watch and see the response to what's written here in my post regarding feminism. Read this to most church-goers in America that you know or don't know.

Savannah its not just women such as this female pastor who believes there are other ways to get to geaven other than Jesus. Male pastors also deny that Jesus is the only way to heaven.

Savannah your sarcasm is duly noted. The fact is there are many in the pulpit who are denying that Christ is the only way of salvation. It is simply the apostasy that the American church is living in.

The woman in question is a liberal Presbyterian. She comes from a liberal Presbyterian denomination. The fact is a male pastor in that same denomination could have made the same statement. So whether it was a man or a woman, the gender is irrelevant. The fact is that denomination is saturated with liberal theology that denies the oerson and work of Jesus Christ.

But men such as Bob Schuler and Joel Olsteen say Christ is not the only way to Salvation. Even Pooe Francis believes all faiths kead to God.

The issue is not feminism but liveral theology that rejects the person and work of Jesus Christ.
