In the world that it is OKAY to be divorce, I am so happy to watched all the series in Marriage Permanence's Youtube channel...

It made me teary eyes, it inspire me in my own marriage life that only God is the source of joy and happiness and it can never be found with anyone else, and only God's grace can sustain me to love my husband in perfect unconditional way...

Truly, this series is such a blessing to watch....

While divorce does happen and in some cases for good reason, divorce is not the unforgivable sin. It is when one remarries while they have a living spouse that the Bible is clear that it is adultery.

Like any other sin that is not repented of or stopped one will be held accountable for sins they have not forsaken. Yet as you mentioned regarding the world in which we now live adultery appears to be the exception to the rule of repentance.

Many have found good reason to justify why they have been able to violate the vow they have made before God and promised to remain faithful and true to that vow until death.

My wife left me and began to commit adultery many years ago. Our marriage ended in divorce and I could have used that to justify why I could go out and find another wife.

But after much prayer, tears, and waiting on the Lord. I was led to stand for restoration, reconciliation, and the renewing of our marriage 7 years later.

Our story is not the exception, God is faithfully restoring marriages all over the world for those who are seeking His will and His best for their lives.

Of course people will bring up the worst case scenario of the guy who beats his wife, cheats on her, molests his children, is a drug addict, a drunk, and a dead beat, etc. to justify why they left their mate just because they had the hots for someone else.

Of course God would not expect a woman to stay in a dangerous abusive situation, He would want her to remove herself from the situation and use her faith in the promises of God to stand, fight, and war for the salvation of her husband.

If restoration does not happen in this life time, which is possible, it is still no justification to go out and commit adultery through remarriage.

These videos are a great encouragement and testimony to the faithful and God.

Yes NP, God is amazing! I appreciate the video links of the testimonies that were provided but they do not even come close to the amazing testimonies that I know of personally.

I will share another. In one of the ministries that I am involved in there is a brother who also had a wife who began to commit adultery and she left him and then would come back and then leave again.

This man chose to stand and love his wife. We spent many hours on the phone, praying, counseling, encouraging one another.

Then he found out his wife got pregnant. Not only was she pregnant but she was pregnant from a man of a different race.

In the world we live in today most people would not give this woman the time of day but I am happy to say they have been in a restored marriage for over 5 years now and he has raised that child as his own and the natural father has never laid eyes on the boy.

They are not only restored but the wife committed her life to Christ and they have been serving the Lord as a family ever since.

Another couple I know who were in a second marriage on both sides meaning both the man and woman had living covenant spouses whom they stayed in contact with due to their children. The Lord began visiting the man in his dreams and telling him the woman he was married to was not his wife.

Now both this man and woman were very active in their church. But as the dreams and conviction increased he decided to tell his second wife what God had been telling him and she then confessed that she To was having the same dreams.

After much fear and trembling and seeking the Lord they began to seek counsel only to have various pastors, ministries, and churches tell them the dreams were not of God and not to worry.

After much conviction they decided to not sleep in the same bedroom until their fears and conviction were confirmed. This took many months and then finally they came across one of the few ministries upholding the permanency of marriage and sought further guidance and counsel only to conclude that what God began to show them in their dreams separately was indeed the Lord.

Sadly, the greatest opposition they received once they decided to separate it was their Christian friends who attacked them the most and saying the most ugly things.

They have since divorced and both are speaking to their covenant spouses and seeking forgiveness and restoration. They remain the best of friends in Christ to this day.

That is the tragedy... and the reason why I left (Edit:) a particular church. While I was speaking with one of the pastors / church leaders about that, saying that it is adultery to continue in another marriage while your first spouse is alive, he told me "You hold the opinion of the minority." And it literally made me laugh, but it is tragic, because that church leader was convinced that "the minority" was wrong...

Praise God for such testimonies! And even more praise God - who is the perfect Matchmaker! :) May our homes glorify Him!
