What are the signs of the beginning of the Tribulation & What are the identifying marks of the Anti

I am just interested `i know the bible it is these two questions ?

What are the signs that identify that we are in the tribulation and what are the identifying signs that Identify the Antichrist from the Bible?

I noticed when studying endtimes that their are many types of the ultimate Antichrist and Antichrist behaviour.
I noticed that the devil likes to count because of his insecurity and he particularly likes to count "Gods People".

The reason I wanted to deal with this subject it that there is so much misinformation on this subject.

I also have been looking on different sites and as most of the church is pre tribulational or was.

The subject of the tribulation is an ultimate reality. What I want to deal with is real life situations rather than biblical theory.

The tribulation could be ten years away or could be soon. If during the time of Jesus's first coming how much did the people at the time get wrong.

One of the ideas I have been questioning is the idea of the so called Seven Year Peace Treaty as there has been so many numerous peace treaties.

I tend to think it is more renewing the Sacrifices on the Temple for seven years as that actually fits the biblical data more than a peace treaty.

Daniel 9:27

And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

With the AntiChrist it is one Person it is a spirit as in the scriptures

Revelation 20:10
And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

The beast is mentioned in singular when he goes into the lake of fire so that is why I conclude the fact that it is one person

2 Thessalonians 2:8
And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

The other thing I questioned is the aspect of the Gog and Magog War

I tend to put that at the end of the millennium as to me I am amazed at the way that I used to view the Scriptures before with Pre trib eyes and now I question everything as to me the deception of this doctrine is the AntiChrist can pretend to be Christ and how many will fall for that if they do not know what to expect to look for with the Antichrist.

There is so much bad speculation regarding this subject and I find it is not good. When you only want scripture or early sources on this subject.

I have been almost asking a rhetorical question rather and I want to do a study of the data from the bible as hermeneutics does matter.

I have been recently upset with the aspect I have been against the pretrib view for quite a time and the use of apostatsy as the rapture in Thessalonians 2 I find abhorrent as it misses out the context of the actual passage where it talks about deception.

It has been hard because at the moment I go to two churches in which I do not feel happy at either as I so want a solid biblical church in which I can discuss the scriptures and not social things.

To me these two questions have been on my mind because reality is stranger than fiction and I think that most of the eschatology is brilliant fiction but does it work in a real world.

If this is a real world event and we move into the time of the tribulation, how would we know and how we would know this is defiantly the Antichrist and we are now in the time of the Tribulation.

I so need the Holy spirit.

Matthew 24:15 is the greatest clue and sign to look for regarding the beginning of the tribulation. It's the sign of all signs to look for and these words from Christ's own mouth could not have been clearer. WHEN YOU SEE the abomination spoken of by Daniel the prophet. THEN will begin a time of trouble and distress such as never has occurred since there was a world nor ever shall after (see Matt 24:21). Christ on purpose left this all important sign minus any ambiguity or need of reinterpretation.

Let the reader understand.

I'm sure we will know when it is already here....

I dont think the tribulation is here !

We must encourage people to "know Him" and have a personal relationship with Him. Those 27 people who were shot to death at church very well could have been pre-trib believers and none of them saw the unfolding of the end-time beliefs.

Approx 180,000 people die a day due to varying causes. I don't know how many are God-fearing Christians. It doesn't matter who the anti-Christ is or will be. If Christians do not know how to get through the week, how in the world will they survive any sort of tribulation in their life, let alone the anti-Christ?

The better question is how can I encourage those around me to be better men/women in Christ?

This is true in North Korea christian persecution is the worst in the world, the bible talks about universal persecution in the world.

The Bible is very clear "The Great Tribulation" is an exact time in history and cannot be mixed up with persecution.
Persecution will happen during the "Great Tribulation" but persecution is only part of it.
So persecution is not the "The Great Tribulation" whether that persecution is on a large scale like in a few countries around the globe or not.
Again there are times in history like Corrie Ten Boom who was persecuted and there are times in history like Billy Graham 99yrs old this week by the way when there is no aggressive persecution for the want of a better word.
The Great Tribulation no matter what ur view on the rapture will not pass you bye ,dont you worry head about that .You will know either that u left before it or that you are right in the middle of it,you will have no doubts

Without the city was the Roman army ready to swallow them up, with a particular rage against them, not only as Jews, but as rebellious Jews. War was the only one of the three sore judgments that David excepted against; but that was it by which the Jews were ruined; and there were famine and pestilence in extremity besides. Josephus's History of the Wars of the Jews, has in it more tragical passages than perhaps any history whatsoever.
(1.) It was a desolation unparalleled, such as was not since the beginning of the world, nor ever shall be. Many a city and kingdom has been made desolate, but never any with a desolation like this. Let not daring sinners think that God has done his worst, he can heat the furnace seven times and yet seven times hotter, and will, when he sees greater and still greater abominations. The Romans, when they destroyed Jerusalem, were degenerated from the honour and virtue of their ancestors, which had made even their victories easy to the vanquished. And the wilfulness and obstinacy of the Jews themselves contributed much to the increase of the tribulation. He that escaped one sword, would fall by another, Isa. 24:17, 18. The computation which Josephus makes of those that were slain in several places, amounts to above two millions. No flesh shall be saved; he doth not say, "No soul shall be saved,' for the destruction of the flesh may be for the saving of the spirit in the day of the Lord Jesus; but temporal lives will be sacrificed so profusely, that one would think, if it last awhile, it would make a full end.”

"The" great tribulation at the end of the age ends in the resurrection of the dead (Daniel 12:1-2, Matt 24:31) at Christ's second coming at the day of the Lord. Matthew 24:31 speaks of the last trumpet which is when the dead are raised and translated. "We shall all be changed - in moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the LAST TRUMPET (I Cor 15:52). There are no trumpets spoken of anywhere after Matt 24:31. It is absolutely the last trumpet spoken of before Christ's coming and Christ Himself placed this trumpet AFTER THE TRIBULATION of those days (Matt 24:29). Since the resurrection of the dead is involved it is historically and exegetically impossible to place these events in 7O AD of which it is undeniably OBVIOUS that the dead were not raised and translated.

Mt 26:64: "You have said so,” Jesus replied. "But I say to all of you: From now on you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on the clouds of heaven.”

I certainly don’t see any reference to a resurrection in Mt 24:31. The angels (messengers) mention refer to human ministers spreading the gospel.

So angels are now humans as far as eschatology goes?

The question asked was what will be the sign of Your coming and the end of the age. It seems exegetically sound and logical to assume it was Christ's second coming being spoken of and asked about. I've always been taught that the second coming is when the righteous dead will be resurrected and glorified. I Cor 15:52 clearly identifies this as occurring at the last trumpet. There is no other trumpet after Matt 24:31 if last really means last. Christ's second coming coincides with the resurrection of the dead at the last trumpet. The order is so basic and easy to ascertain that the Lord should be praised for making it so simple. As a gift to His children and His Church He does not desire it to be difficult to understand.

He shall send his angels - Τους αγγελους, his messengers, the apostles, and their successors in the Christian ministry.
With a great sound of a trumpet - Or, a loud-sounding trumpet - the earnest affectionate call of the Gospel of peace, life, and salvation.

Shall gather together his elect - The Gentiles, who were now chosen or elected, in place of the rebellious, obstinate Jews, according to Our Lord's prediction, Matthew 8:11,Matthew 8:12, and Luke 13:28,Luke 13:29. For the children of the kingdom, (the Jews who were born with a legal right to it, but had now finally forfeited that right by their iniquities) should be thrust out. It is worth serious observation, that the Christian religion spread and prevailed mightily after this period: and nothing contributed more to the success of the Gospel than the destruction of Jerusalem happening in the very time and manner, and with the very circumstances, so particularly foretold by our Lord. It was after this period that the kingdom of Christ began, and his reign was established in almost every part of the world.
