Marvin you lost me on a lot of your post. I do feel he does a great job exposing the crazy things some pastors say during their sermons. Personally I say him and folks like him are valuable to anyone seeking to join some of these churches he exposes. As a Christian, I totally believe in the power of prayer, and the God heals through Prayer, not man. No man can heal, when we lay hands on folks or whatever, if they are healed, they are healed through God.
Physicians can place bones back together, but God mends them. Physicians can cut you open and remove a tumor, but only God can heal your body and prevent another tumor from coming back in its place. Physicians can give you medicine not to feel any pain, but only God can heal you of that pain and what’s causing it. God’s way is the sure way. James said, "Is any among you afflicted? let him pray.
Justin also exposes all the people that claim they have been to Heaven, he may not be perfect, but he is of some value to folks that are deceived, by these false teachers and liars.
I also believe no man has ever seen God or Heaven...No one has ascended into Heaven, but He who descended from heaven, the Son of Man. John 3:13
No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is himself God and is in closest relationship with the Father, has made him known. John 1:18
As for as anyone having any spiritual gifts today, this argument could go on forever. I've personally never witnessed anyone with any spiritual gifts, if you know of someone, I would love to meet them and talk with them about their gift. I do believe that the gift of faith still exists today. I believe in the bigness of God, He is sovereign over all the affairs of life, none of us has it all together, no one has a corner on the truth.
I do believe that God is no longer granting individuals special powers to perform miracles at will, that through Prayer and Prayer only does it all. This is just what I believe, and I respect anyone's opinion that differs from mine.
