birth pangs...

sermonindex Dec 2, 2017

I was devoting to what my sister in Christ, who is a newly mother, and told me about giving birth. I am not a mother yet so I don't have an experience. She told me that she wanted to give birth without any anti-pain medication like epidural and it is great and JOYFUL feeling to feel the pain brought by labor and giving birth to your own child. It got me thinking about Matthew 24 that Jesus Christ said that the signs of His Return is like the beginning of birth pangs, if that days came in our lifetime, I DESIRE to be joyful to face the birth pangs of Jesus Christ prerequisite return, just like how my sister in Christ was joyful to endured and faced the pain of process of giving birth to her child....

1000%

This cool and sunny morning my electricity went out. So i put on my jacket to go out to start my car. Before I could leave my house a car drove by. I said to myself Oh, so "Rocket Man" didnt EMP us. Guess business as usual.

I was calm even about an EMP because Im unconcerned what is coming to me personally. Gods hand is on me and what he allows is for me.

I couldnt be more excited that Jesus is coming and the birth pangs have started. Yippee!

As in labor some can have a bloody ordeal. Die during the pangs. But all Christians go home no matter what happens toward the end. And for sure we are near the end.

ps, if electricity is out AND your car wont start it was likely an EMP attack.

I like your response Linda. The birth pangs or the sufferings, persecution who cares! they're only temporary, in the end we win! and will be in a place of no persecution, no suffering and no pains. This is a promise God made to all his children that has invited his son Jesus Christ into their lives. Again, Christians should always be happy and not fear anything, this life is only temporary, unless God changes his plans, but I don't see that happening. :-)

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. (2nd Timothy 1:7) You can't have a sound mind if you're fearing birth pangs and sufferings, or persecution, right?
