I do not believe in a figurative mark I believe in an actual mark , I have problems with RFID from a computer science perspective and electronic tattoos as they can be easily hacked ,

as doing computer science DNA as storage is not that far fetched , DNA can hold an entabyte of information compared to say the minuscule size of RFID chips

if we are talking about the mark of the beast the cryptocurrency market is a global system which you can buy and sell with now

I agree Dominic, from my view of scripture, the mark, whatever form it takes, has to be literal.

Having said that, I respect Todd's view, although I don't understand what is meant by figurative buying and selling.

The further this goes, the more I am convinced that the mark is not an actual mark in the body, but rather allegiance to the beast's world order. There is already enough information about each and every one of us on the web that a physical mark is unnecessary. You can be positively identified with ease as it is. I am not convinced that it will be so much that you are locked out due to an absence of a certain mark. I think you will be locked out due to the fact that you have not sworn allegiance to the antichrist. They will say, "Oh, this is Travis. He is not in our system as having sworn allegiance to the anti-christ. His money is no good here. (We are quickly approaching a cashless society as it is.)
