I have just installed the Sermon Downloader (win app).
Is there a way to change the default download folder?
I would like it to download the sermon to another folder on another drive on my PC?
Thanks!

Dear brother,
I could be mistaken but in the installation process it allows you to select the folder location. Again I could be wrong.
Another option is to download all of the sermons of each speaker you want and when the downloading is done "move" that folder to where you want to store it and repeat that process for all speakers you want.
You can install the app to a different folder, however when you are downloading sermons the sermons get downloaded to the Local C drive, even if installed on say F drive. The sermons get put into the LocalDisk/Users/"username"/SermonIndex_Sermons folder.
The app needs to allow you to be able to change the download destination of the actual sermons, not just the app itself.
brother,
Thank you for that excellent suggestion, I agree that will help if for instance you want to download the entire archive to a remote hard-disk that will allow you to choose the destination folder for that disk. I will take a note of this to pass this onto the developer for a future upgrade.
No, there is no known way to change the download folder for the actual downloaded sermons, and while in Windows the program itself in in the C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Sermonindex Downloader 2.0, and the user folder is %UserProfile%/AppData\\Roaming\\Sermon Downloader 2.0, yet you will not find your downloaded sermons there. Nor does the program tell you were it put them.
But they should be found in %UserProfile%\\SermonIndex_Sermons
If you just copy that address and paste it in your Run command (press Windows key and tap r key) then you should be able to go to it.
Then you can hit the up arrow in your window to go up one level in the folder, and then right click on the Sermon Downloader 2.0 folder and choose Create Shortcut and then copy and paste that wherever you want (or right click on the Sermon Downloader 2.0 folder and point to Send To and hit Desktop>Create Shortcut).
You could also copy and paste a shortcut in
%UserProfile%\\AppData\\Roaming\\Microsoft\\Windows\\Start Menu\\Programs
And you could also paste a shortcut in %UserProfile%\\AppData\\Roaming\\Microsoft\\Windows\\SendTo
And while you are at it, you can hit the up arrow in your window to go up one level and then right click on the Send To folder and choose Create Shortcut, and then copy and paste that in the Send To folder. Then you can right click on any shortcuts to folders or executables and send them into the Send To folder.
And (if you know what you are doing) thus be able to right click on any file and have the appropriate application open it (like an media or document file for which you have more then one app for). This can be quicker than using the default Windows Open With procedure.
Of course, there is also the Copy/Move to option that the free Ultimate Windows Tweaker enables, among about 200 others.
Thank God for options.
