It is possible for Christ’s Church to be so properly aligned with heaven that the Holy Spirit actually displaces the powers of darkness over our cities. To the degree that the Church is so joined to God, the Lord’s presence guards the city; crime and immorality proportionally decline; revival breaks out. So very true. We had seen such a move of God some years back that between the prostutes and the runners being saved the Detroit gang placed a hit on us, but The Lord was faithful to keep and protect us so that against all the advise we kept preaching on the streets and ministering to the children and no weapon formed against us prospered. All glory to Jesus Christ. It s time for revival and to see The Lord exulted once again.

Looking back on my life I see houses that were built on the sand and
times when the "house" was on solid rock. And His favor follows obedience and often we regret the rubble of a house built on sand. But truly we do learn and grow and learn obedience is better than sacrifice.

I have always loved Keith Green, and I remember so clearly that I was in a Kenneth Hagin campmeeting in 1982, the speaker was Norvel Hayes. Someone gave Brother Norvel a note. He read it, and it was about Keith Green. He had just got into a plane crash. We prayed in that meeting for Keith Green, but the prayer quickly turned to his wife Melody, as we got word that Keith Green had died in that plane crash. His ministry has been a blessing to so many, and we still love to listen to his love songs to Jesus.

I see God raising up young men like Keith Green again.

Thanks Mike for sharing when you got the news about Keith and his children. I heard it at a church meeting. We were all so impacted by Keith and Melody Green and the Last Days Ministries with Leonard Ravenhill mentoring so many. God has his way of moving us along. So blessed to know we are one family, one baptism, one in Christ. 36 years ago seems like only yesterday.

There is an opioid epidemic here in East TN as well as the whole state as I'm sure many other states. But our normally conservative fiscal mayor wants to elect a governor whose answer is raising all kinds of taxes in TN to combat this epidemic.

I argued with her on FB that we need Jesus plain and simple, NOT more taxes and if this guy she wants to elect as gov wanted to do something REALLY CRAZY, he needs to pass a mandate to allow prayer back into the TN schools K-12 but our Christian Mayor wasn't hearing any of it.

Folks, we need revival.

For all cities and towns we cry out for God to save.
Father, send out the fishers of men into these dark cities with false idols and gods which are nothing but falsehood, futility and things of no profit.
Make known your power and might that they shall know the Name of the Lord. We never stop praying for you to revive the church and save the peoples.
