Lord of Sky and Sea worship song

sermonindex Apr 29, 2018

I wrote these lyrics a few weeks ago and my dear sister in the Lord, Mary Greig in Scotland recorded it in the studio and she and her family created this video to go along with it. It is shot above my home town of Greenock in Scotland. Please feel free to share this, it is a declaration of who God is and who He will ever be!

Thank you, Lord, for such beauty as your children worship you.
The music and pipers , Mary's voice, Frank's psalm, the photographer capturing creation and the ability to share this with many.
A gift most glorious!

I am so glad I clicked on this thread, and then on the link to the video!

The lyrics, that dear sister’s voice, the bagpipes, the beautiful nature scenery, all by His creation, and for His glory!

It touched me as a little glimpse of what is constantly taking place in His prescence in Heaven (and in the hearts of those rightly focused here and now)!

Thank you for sharing! I am rejoicing in spirit and truth with you this day!

With much love from afar (but close in spirit),

Caleb

I sure hope there’s bagpipes in the New Earth. My wife will just have to get used to them.

This was very well done and a joy to listen to and watch.

Thank you Blaine, I knew it would minister to you. We have another one coming out next week and I just wrote one for Mary yesterday which I feel the Lord will use for His glory. Its called "My eyes will see."

My eyes will see.

Oh Lord my God when day is almost over
And night it comes a knocking at my door
The darkness comes and threatens to consume me
And life has left me dying on the floor

Chorus

I'll cry to you with all that is within me
My tears shall fall into your loving hands
And then once more on mountains or in valleys
My eyes shall see the one for me who ever stands

Verse 2

So Lord my God I shall forever love you
Though many tears and trials are mine to own
Your light it shines upon me in the darkness
And it's your light, your light that leads me home

Chorus

I'll cry to you with all that is within me
My tears shall fall into your loving hands
And then once more on mountains or in valleys
My eyes shall see the one for me who ever stands

Verse 3

When all my days are gone and are behind me
I'll lift my eyes and see where I belong
It's in your arms and there I'll rest forever
I'll walk with thee and join the heavenly throng

Very good brother Frank and beautifully done!

I enjoyed it!

Thank you Rbanks, the Lord seems to be really using it to minister to folks. My theory is that it is because it simply magnifies God. I think we live in a day and age where a lot of worship songs are kind of fuzzy and speak about love in vague terms and use lots of personal pronouns. There is a deep hunger for songs that simply and unambiguously worship God...............bro Frank
