Physically tired, worried and a bit down

And much to my suprise, I go to Tuesday night Bible study with the men tonight and come home refreshed, peaceful and looking with hope at the various things facing me right now. I was refreshed by the word and their faith and hope. All I did was show up. It's happened before bit it sure is refreshing when it happens.

I sought my soul but it fled from me.
I sought my God but Him I could not find.
I sought my brother and found all three!

The word is defined as being used to express surprise or used for emphasis. I meant, well, much to my surprise, I was refreshed at the Bible study. That's all I meant. Nothing else at all.

Using the word "gosh" in my original post doesn't seem to be seen by a few as the proper word to use. That's okay I guess but the thoughts of my heart could not have been further from wanting to cause any offense. I meant nothing at all in my statement. Nothing. This is the first time in my life I've ever been told that "gosh" is a euphemism for God that people use when they don't want to use the word God. It's all news to me. Since this was brought to my attention, I've found myself wondering what is going on when one exclaims "Wow" or "Great day, did you see that!" What is going on when one says, "Golly?" I can't ask forgiveness for the times I have used the word in question because I don't use it that often I suppose but I've never been consciously sinning when I have used it along the lines of I know I shouldn't be using it but I'm going to use it anyway. And my rare use of the word has certainly not led to any depression on my part. If it has negative connotations to some it may not have those same connotations to others.

Nonetheless, if it is wrong to some then I have no problem in changing the word I used. So, in my OP I have went back and eliminated the word lest I cause offense to brethren in Christ. No problem. I don't mean that sarcastically.

Firstly I love sister Sandra and have really benefited from her wisdom and I def find a common ground with Heartsong thru their posts, however I could not be in stronger disagreement with them than I am on this.
I take no issue with them personally and will not make it such, however I would surely encourage you to see that it is a religious spirit that seeks to control your speech. It is the same spirit that finds offense in our secular culture in all sorts of areas....
While it should never be our intent to offend a sister or brother especially in personal fellowship, it’s simply the yoke of a religious spirit to attempt to police another persons use of a word, where clearly no offense was intended, in an online forum.
Again a Holy spirit filled person doesn’t get "offended”.... full stop.

Having said this I do find your willingness to hold your ground while accommodating those whom are offended, encouraging:)

I would wager a million bucks if I had it that God was not offended by the use of the word "gosh” in the OP. Of course I realize wagering is a no-no.
