Reminded me of this lovely passage:

That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us (Eph 2:12-14)

The Lord is an incoming tide, when the ocean rushes in then that which separates and keeps apart becomes one. Every revival was an incoming tide. If we desire to keep to our separate pools we would never truly want the tide to rise. Yet, in the end, nothing can stop the sea from rushing in. It is interesting that since there was no punctuation in Hebrew then this these verses.............

So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him. And the Redeemer shall come to Zion, and unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob, saith the LORD (Isa 59:19-20)

could read " When the enemy comes in.............like a flood the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him."

Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:(Eph 4:13)
