Defining Headship and Submission

I found this very concise definition describing the biblical roles in marriage.
I was wondering if there were any objections, thoughts or other short definitions that some might be aware of?

Headship is the divine calling of a husband to take primary responsibility for Christlike servant leadership, protection, and provision in the home.

Submission is the divine calling of a wife to honor and affirm her husband’s leadership and help carry it through according to her gifts.

Defining headship and submission is easy. It's the practice thereof which is difficult.

In agreeing with basic tenets set forth, I’d like to add this -

Love is the basis for it ALL,..
The husband serves the wife in the same way Christ serves us,... by example.
Christ was lovingly submitted to the Father and as such serves as the perfect example for us (husbands) to be submitted to Him. In this way we (hubs) serve as an example for our wives.
Likewise, just as Christ Himself is very patient, merciful, faithful, gentle and loving with us (hubs) while we learn, we too should be the same with our wives:)
Basically our "job” is to love and lead our wives-
But what if we are lovingly leading our wives and they’re not following??
Well then it is NOT our job to make them follow!
That is the responsibility of Holy Spirit Himself and we should trust Him, not seeking to usurp His authority.

In my experience when we (hubs) are ourselves lovingly submitted to the Lord, He has the means to affect the hearts of our wives :)

He says, "He turns the hearts of Kings like rivers”.... so I’m pretty sure He can handle our spouses ;)

If it was not for some firm and loving intervention by our church, mine would have been blown out of the water.

However, neither is there an institution better designed to bring us into the image of His likeness, as well.
