Real Meaning, Real Love, Real purpose. The supreme will of God

The great and critical need of the body of Christ is to die to self, to make an all in surrender of their life to God and to pursue wholeheartedly God's will to make Jesus supreme in all the earth. If that is not your daily plan and the entire agenda of your day, then it is your great need as well.

The mark of the true child of God to the world, the assurance of the saint that he is indeed a child of God, and the proof to God that we are His children is our love for the brethern. Is it your great love to help the brethern with their great need to die, surrender and pursue the supremacy of Jesus in their lives and in the world? That is what love does.

So, what are you planning to do today to meet the great and critical need of the family of God? It is your personal great calling, responsibility and privilege to serve the family of God in meeting this urgent need. Meeting this need is the highest form of brotherly love.

We all are responsible to each other to draw out of each other each day a sacrificial love to go and make Jesus supreme in all the earth, especially in the church, local and global. That is the primary purpose of our lives and of the church. It takes encouragement, reaching out, reminders, cheerleading, sharing His word, prayer, exhortation and sometimes a good calling out of the situation and the truth.

We can and do make life about a lot of other secondary things. I do not hesitate to say that if we don't die daily to our self, surrender all to Christ and wholeheartedly pursue making Jesus supreme in all the earth, especially in the lives of His brothers and sisters, then we are engaging in vanity and sin.

The carrot side of this argument is that living wholeheartedly each day to make Jesus supreme brings the greatest joy and meaning to life that we can imagine. Why, because walking with God and walking in the fullness of God by His Spirit only happens when three (us, Him and the church) walk together in the unity of agreement and purpose; that being the supremacy of Jesus in ALL the earth.

I awoke this morning with a sense of "wrestling” in prayer, even as I dozed in and out of early morning sleep.

After some more time in restless prayer (burdened, concerned), I read your post brother Robert.

While it is nothing new, it struck a timely chord along the lines of Hebrews 3:13 in my spirit and I immediately knew that I had to reach out to several brethren. Which I did.

Your timely exhortation already bore fruit in my little life, and I pray will have a ripple effect in others.

Really thankful for your heeding of promptings to write and post lately.

With love for you from afar, but close in spirit!
