Good morning fellow believers,
Let us give thanks for the incomparable gift of God: Eternal Life through Jesus Christ our Lord!
"for by grace are we saved, through faith, and this is the gift of God…”
May we never lose sight of the Hope we have in Christ. We are in this world but not of it.
Jesus has gone to prepare a place for us.
We have nothing to fear. Death has been overcome. Death is not the end for us, nor do we fear eternal damnation!
Christ is our Living Hope, our Great High Priest. Our Man in Heaven, our advocate with the Father.
We are the Righteousness of God in Him!
I could go on and on and on……. ïŠ
The crux of my message is this: Let us rejoice in the Lord and in the great grace we have received.
Consider everything that God has done for us. "for God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whoever believes in Him would not perish but would receive the gift of Eternal Life”
This is Good News indeed! Just these verses can carry us through this life until we meet our Lord face to face.
…but this Good News is not just for us who have already believed.
Let us not fail to share it with our family, our friends, our neighbours. Remember this: Outside of Christ there is no hope, no help. No Eternal Life. People are perishing. Right now, there are people around us in mortal danger of being lost forever. People who face certain death and remain under God’s judgement just as we once did. This is truth. It is God’s Word.
By all means, let us help save some for the glory of God. Where would we be if someone did not pray, did not care, did not share the Good News with us!
Whatever holds us back, whether it be fear of man, timidity, laziness, apathy…let us repent of these things and begin again to do the works we did in the beginning!
