Ezekiel 13:7
9 My hand will be against the prophets who see false visions and utter lying divinations. They will not belong to the council of my people or be listed in the records of Israel, nor will they enter the land of Israel. Then you will know that I am the Sovereign LORD.
In coming formally from a charasmatic background it is amazing how many false prophecies have been prophecied over your life and how much damage has been done.
It is hard when you can't think of one propechy that has actually come true
I believe the bible not man's word but I can see how false prophecy can turn people to atheism and away from god
