This is one of those scriptures that the world would call 'contradictory', yet I'm convinced the answer may be simple.
2 Samuel 24:24, ...David bought the threshing floor and the oxen for fifty shekels of silver.
Here is what is says in 2 Chronicles 21:25, So David gave Ornan six hundred shekels of gold by weight for the place.
So there is both gold and silver, 50 shekels and 600 shekels.
What I want to ask is how much was it?
It's not really that important. It's just I would like to know. Thanks.
