But when ye sin so against the brethren, and wound their weak conscience,
ye sin against Christ. 1 Corinthians 8:12

Powerful scriptures, those who by their example lead another believer into sin and spiritual ruin sin not only against that person, but also against Christ Himself.

Love, will abstain from what ever might cause another believer to be led into sin and is made weak and cause to fall.

Any sin done against a brother is a sin against Christ. Paul never attacked Christ still Jesus asked Paul why he was persecuting him. But Paul was only persecuting the believers. Since they were part of the body of Christ, Jesus saw their persecution as persecution of himself.
