Hey, does anyone know what the Gentile's knowledge of the law was? Did they understand the commandments of God or were they oblivious?

Hey, does anyone know what the Gentile's knowledge of the law was? Did they understand the commandments of God or were they oblivious?By the commandments I presume you mean Exodus 20. These 10 'words' were part of a specifically localised application of universal law. The 10 words and the judgements were enjoined upon the covenant people of Israel as conditions of their unique relationship with God. Behind the 'words of the LORD all all the judgments' (Ex 24:3) lies universal law of which Romans tells us 'Rom. 2:14 For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves: Rom. 2:15 Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;)
