My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, how good it is to hear people asking for revival, but I must ask, do we really know what we are asking for. When God steps down and takes control it will be a fearful experience, dividing our nation in half. I have spent several weeks listening to Duncan Campbell’s message “When God Stepped Down from Heaven”, and proceeded to listen to all the other sermons, what a powerful message. So the real question is, if we are praying for revival, and God being a convent keeping God, why has there not been a revival in America in the last 100 years? SIN.Isaiah 591 Behold, the LORD's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear:2 But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.I must ask, are you free from your sin? Christians struggle to get free from there sin be cause they refuse to put it on the cross and let it die their. Let us be honest, we love our sin! And will not let it die. As Leonard Ravenhill said, you don’t pray, you’re undisciplined! and you nothing about worship! If we but humble ourselves and truly repent in prayer we would be set free from that which binds us. For pray changes our heart and gives us a distasted for the sin. Then we could pray. What is needed today are people that would make a covenant with God to rise up early and wait on God with fasting and prayer. May God rise up such men and woman.
