WEAN ME NOT, OH SAVIOUR.

Wean me not of my desire;
For lost souls in bondage,
Who enjoys the pleasures of sins,
So many are they in the land.

Wean me not of my desire;
Of men who are not discipled,
But claim to be born anew,
Though willfully walk-in compromise.

Wean me not of my desire;
To pull out those heading to hell,
Who though are churchgoers but not saved,
In their lives are religious activities.

Wean me not of my desire;
To preach to prisoners of self,
Who worldliness has conquered,
Having not option but to remain.

Wean me not of my desire;
To call men out of the pursuit of mammon,
Who has made their gods their belly,
That always turned stones to bread.

Wean me not of my desire;
Not to stop telling the proud,
That the way up is humility,
The Son of God is an humble man.

Wean me not of my desire;
In pointing people to JESUS,
And not to a particular preacher,
For all men are grass, and are on trial.

Wean me not of my desire;
To cease praying for the saints,
That they maybe built up in faith,
And in our Oneness to the Lord.

Wean me not of my desire;
In consideration of the weak and gullible,
That their eyes of understanding might open,
Looking unto Jesus as our faith beginner and finisher.

Wean me not of my desire;
Of being a watchman,
To my brethren living in the light,
Never to slide back from the call,
Of following the narrow way that lead to life!
