SHELVE NOT DIVINE TREASURE
May l not at the face of shame;
Deny Christ and my faith in Him,
When men are making mockery,
Of the truth and righteousness,
Give me boldness to speak out.
May the pleasures and placement of life;
Not choke my profession of Jesus,
And juicy career pursuits push aside;
The Divine privilege to be used of God,
In preaching, praying and practicing the truth.
May the glory, comfort and prosperity;
Of this fleeting world of vanities,
Not blurred my vision - heaven's glory,
When men keep drifting to and fro,
Never being able to understand God's plan.
May people who know not God in Spirit and truth;
Captured me with worldly traps of mammon,
That which become a rein to Achan's life,
Even Demas couldn't resist its promptings,
By the cross, l crucified all and count it dung.
