Resently John Pawson is interviewing Joseph Drummond.
They are discussing Prophecy,.. things that are happening now, this year , etc.
I would hope you will consider it.

I do not no,.. and don’t usually listen to Prophecy, .. but wait on The Lord to teach me,.. however, I know it is important for us to read and understand it.
However this man said several things that would happen this year,..
And because The Lord, showed me something through a dream many years ago when nothing else but His Grace was upon me to draw me unto Himself,,.. so I have always expected it one day to happen.

And this man has hit upon it.

Like I said, I do not know,.. I just listen, hold it, watch, wait to see.

I had a quick look at the link.
Those sites are full of red flags.
1. Joseph Dumond claims to know exactly how much time is left until the destruction begins, he is even counting the seconds.
2. When you open another link to "check your oil level " he claims you need both of his book to understand the prophecy. The books are quite costly.

To keep it short, my advise is keep away from his site, it might lead you astray.
It is important to know and read Scripture.
And listen to preachers who know the Word of God and preach the Gospel and lead us closer to Him and His Holiness.

Michael Durham seems to be a good choice ;)

In the days when I was listening to and deceived by all kinds of "prophetic" voices, one great source of settled peace in my life were the writings of C H Mackintosh and his Notes on the Pentateuch, Even then I could sense that he was speaking from much better place than most of these "voices". Near the beginning of his book on Genesis he sayes this.

" It is most needful to have the heart thoroughly established as to the fullness, the authority, the completeness, the majesty, the plenary inspiration of the sacred volume. This will be found to be the only effectual safeguard against the rationalism of Germany and the superstition of Rome. Accurate acquaintance with, and profound subjection to, the Word, are the great desiderata of the present moment. May the Lord, in His great grace, abundantly increase, in our midst, both the one and the other."

If that was the great need of the 19th century it is more so today, this "profound subjection" is also the only protection against the multitude of voices seeking to deceive if possible even the very elect in this age.

That being said I am sure that scripture and the power of God witness the fact that genuine Holy Ghost inspired direct prophecy is still occurring today. It is just that, as in the days of the prophets much rarer than the false and unpopular among the professing majority.

My Sheep both hear my voice and heed it.

My understanding from revelation through the scripture from God:
When ever you hear or read about 3 1/2 year in the bible it is to do with Elijah and if Elijah is not included when anyone talks about 3 1/2 yrs then their will be something lacking to say the least.
Elijah comes before the great and terrible day of the Lord and altough many people dont want to hear this I will say it again Jesus comes twice and Elijah comes twice to make way for him coming.
The 3 1/2 yr period in the future starts with a future coming of Elijah .So 2020 is not the middle of the week or the start of the week .This man may have heard from God about 2020 and then added a narrative around it that made sense to him but a narrative that was uninspired ,staff

This morning I was having thoughts on :
‘The path of Life’ and thoughts on learning/ knowing ‘the Prophecies....
If He shows us ‘the true ‘Path of Life’, ...(leadings by His Spirit), surely along that path, He will make known / reveal to us the Prophecy as it becomes needful.

I was looking at , ... from the fall of man, God has been trying to guide / lead one’s/ us / ...the human race /... , to that ‘path of Life’
.....lots of deep thought.

Regardless also of where we are precisely in relation to the eschatological clock (Which even Jesus did not know)
we are I believe witnessing a great falling away.
We are absolutely saturated with divine promises which have the power to turn the world upside down but we have done precisely nothing with them. Well we have turned them into mystical insanity on one hand and dead intellectualism on the other but we are guilty of every God breathed syllable and God is not mocked.
The judgment of God is upon both Britain and America.

We must honor him now and bear fruit in line this high calling. The unspeakable privilege of being his body in a world that hates him.

In those verses Jesus was talking about the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD. It’s plainly obvious- he even says so!(see Luke 21:20). So the beginning of sorrows Jesus was talking about was between 33AD and 70 AD.

If it was John,.. I did not understand him to actually be endorsing, this man, Joseph Drummond, ...
I understood John Pawson wanting he and others to prayerfully consider this prophecy... for it to be examined.,... taking it into consideration.

Todd, that is what is so confusing to me,...all these dates,... some prophecies past , some future,...
So I cannot learn/know except The Lord teach me... so I will have to wait on Him.

Please don't let anything any of us say confuse you, the whole emphasis of this new covenant is "I will put my laws in their hearts and write them in their minds"
Scriptures that relate to this are Heb.8v10 Eze.11v19 Jeremiah 32v33 and Ezekiel 36v26

I am sure from the attitude of your posts that God is with you and he is not going to let opinions about scripture and prophecy or end time sequences snatch you from his love.

Yes we must be diligent in studying these things but it is from the the incredibly privileged perspective of being raised up together with Christ and seated in heavenly places with him.

All you need to do is, as you have already, are wait earnestly upon him and as he promised in Isa. 40v 31, he will cause you to "mount up on eagles wings"

Also encouraging and I find very helpful when theological issues confuse me are these statements in 1 John 2 ore a great encouragement.

20 But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things.

and:

27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

We are little children abiding in the infinite love of our Father and it is not conceivable that having given us his son he will not also with freely give us all the things we need to follow him.

Thanks for the comment, this does need clarifying.
I was referring to the Church in our countries not nations generally. The world is the world and under judgment and I think this pandemic is part of that.

I don't know much of the Church in the rest of Europe but
in Britain and America in spite of mountains of commentaries, multitudes of seminaries and even countless moves of God and many wonderful spirit filled witnesses to the truth of the gospel, Satan has run unhindered across our nations because the vast majority of our religion is powerless unsurrendered speculation about a God we don't know.

In China, awful though the national spirit is there, there are numerous encouraging reports of real life in the underground Church I love Jackie Pullinger's testimony of new converts travelling from Village to village sometimes with mo more than a fragment of scripture to feed them and leading many to Christ wherever they go.

So, I have been taking in much of Corrie Ten Boon video ‘s on u tube lately,.. such an encouragement and blessing....
How she loved the Lord, and held together in such dire times in her life....
Laid her life down on the alter.... not a percentage, but a whole heart,... oh what a love.
