I just watched a segment on Fox News where a pastor was interviewed (from Maryland I believe) who is defying the stay at home orders here in the US and going ahead to have services in the spirit of not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together. I live in IL where the lockdown orders are extreme. In our area churches have been standing against the orders in a spirit of civil disobedience for the past week or so. I am not here to debate whether churches should obey or not.
I am asking every serious believer to please be praying that in all this turmoil and chaos the spirit of Christ would be evident. One can have passion and defy the government, but we MUST show the spirit of Christ to the unbelieving world that is watching. There must be humility and Christlikeness even with passion......PLEASE PRAY!
