Rom 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
I'm sure we can all say, "amen". Praise the LORD. But then one might think, "how do I really know I'm being led by the SPIRIT of HAYAH?"
And that is a very valid question. But I have another question for you, as my assignment here is to think, and to stimulate others, like you, to think also. So please bear with me.
So how do we know "who" is leading us? And if not YEHOVAH, then who? Is this important? Well, it is if you need blessed assurance that you truly are a son (daughter) of the MOST HIGH. HE says HIS CHILDREN are led by HIM. To "lead" implies that we are following right behind what HE wants for us in our life this moment and this day.
So here's my question. "CAN HE LEAD YOU INTO SIN"? Now please don't sweep this aside in your mind. Are you at a "crossroad" of some kind? We all are, multiple times every day. We must CHOOSE the direction we will go, how we will act, what we will say. So again, "CAN HE LEAD YOU INTO SIN"?
I'm just going to get reckless here and say your answer is "no, of course not." I so agree.
So when we are faced with an important "choice", we can simply ask ourselves, "is it sin"? What standard do we use to make a valued choice? HIS WORD of course, and HIS moral rules of conduct (commandments) that identifies each of us as obedient, or not. Following HIM, or following another, or even ourselves?
So when our conscience is at rest with our choice(s), we can be sure that we are following HIM. "Is what I'm about to do pleasing to the ONE I am following?" "ONE" being our CREATOR and REDEEMER. Am I reflecting HIS glory in what I do, or what I say. Would HE be grieved or pleased with my choice of words and actions? If not, why not? If so, how so? What am I basing my confidence upon? What I'm about to do, or am doing? Or living each breath in harmony with HIS word, and following HIM.
Where are you going today? Are you following HIM? HE is there to lead us. Are we following? In as much as we are obedient, we are following HIM, and are the true sons and daughters of the MOST HIGH ELOHIM (GOD). If sons, then heirs, joint heirs with our beloved MESSIAH.
In all we do or say, we are commanded to love HAYAH, and our NEIGHBOR. To not love our neighbor, is fail to seek his/her well being at all times. And how often do with sluff this responsibility off by saying, "I'll be praying for you". Nothing wrong with praying. But what ever happened to "action"? AGAPE love, HIS kind of love, is a love that "takes action". HIS love is an expression of "WHO HE IS". Will your actions today, reflect who HE is....... are who you are apart from HIM? Are you following HIS will, to love others? Or, are you following what you want, being ever mindful of how you "impress" others rather than please HIM? Or what you want, rather than what HE wants? "But LORD, we've fished all night and caught nothing"! So? "We're very tired". So? We don't get to choose, if we are following HIM. And that's where the rubber meets the road.
Are you a TRUE (according to HIS word) son or daughter? Selah (pause and think about that). Or are you just a "church attendee", who honestly lives by the dictates of flesh and selfishness? Look in the mirror of HIS word, beloved. Do you see yourself immersed there? Or are you just in agreement with HIS truth, yet all knowing that you simply do not live in harmony with what is written in those pages? Are you a son, a daughter, of the MOST HIGH? According to HIS word, and not someone else's word?
