The word FATHER in the New Testament

The word FATHER is used 243 times in the four gospels.

Obviously, then, it must have a very prominent place in the mission, ministry, and teachings of Jesus.

The Old Testament is transactional.

The New Testament is relational.

The word AGAPE in the New Testament.

God is love - Agape.

Jesus is Agape incarnate.

Jesus came to restore and bring us back to the Father.

Since God and Jesus are not doctrine (very important), but are real and living then they can be related to, not in a doctrinal way but in a living relational manner.

God the Father desires our unshared fellowship and love.
