ok, now i'm oficcially fired up. its not cool and satans done the last dirty on me and my business. guys i need prayer. at work, (i'm in real estate)on of the agents had an auction coming up, the only reason we got the agency agreement is because we agreed to pay for advertising, but they slipped through a loophole in the system. because of all the advertising they got tenants, but we had nothing to do with them. they went directly to the people. so we get nothing for all the money, time and effort spent and our business is facing closure. we have next to no properties, we get so many people coming in looking for a rental property but we have none for lease, we have no buyers at this stage and we have barely a property, the situation is so dry and i've been praying so hard that this business doesnt go under. i need your prayers to keep this place on its feet. please. i wont let the honest fall here, we're an office of Christians in real estate for once. i want to see us turn this market around. its so dirty at the moment. i'm desperate and i'm sick of others stealing our victories and thats the latest of the dirties thats come upon the business, we get other agents posing as buyers. they get all the details and find the address go direct to the client we have and tell them that they have buyers, and they steal our listings off us like that. simply because (and wouldnt you?) they actually had results for you to tap into. yes, we're so new to this area, yes we are hitting hard times, but i refuse to see this business fall to petty little shennanigans like that. we're surviving off another business my boss owns atm, the situation's dire, i've been praying victory over it but i really think i need your help guys. thanks so much.

Hm. I could only imagine the stress. But continue to rely on the Lord. And I really don't mean to sound cliche(ish) .. but there really isn't anything else but that. All you guys will just grow with opposition. Todah! A sacrifice of praise way before the answer comes about. Praise Him for His deliverance now before anything happens. He will show Himself to be a faithful God. A work that He has begun, He will surely finish. Just trust Him.In His Name

psalm 37 eh? ohh, this is awesome! if anyone else has anyone come against them this is the psalm, i'm so posting it! 1.Fret Not yourself because of evildoers, neither be envious against those who work unrighteousness (that which is not upright or in right standing with God) 2.For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb. 3.Trust, (lean on,rely on and be confident) in the Lord and do good; so you shall dwell in the land and feed surely on His faithfulness, and truly you shall be fed. 4.Delight yourself also in the Lord and He will give you the desires and secret petitions of your heart. 5.Commit your way to the Lord [roll and repose each care of your load on him]; trust (lean on,rely on and be confident)also in Him and He will bring it to pass. 6.And He will make your uprightness and right standing with God go forth as the light and your justice and right as [the shining sun of] the noon day. 7.Be still and rest in the Lord; wait for Him and patiently lean yourself upon Him; fret not yourself because of him who prospers in this way, because of a man who brings wicked devices to pass. 8.Cease from anger and forsake wrath; fret not yourself - it tends only to evildoing. 9.For evildoers shall be cut off, but those who wait and hope and look for the Lord [in the end] shall inherit the earth [Isaiah 57:13c.] 10.For yet a little while, and the evildoers will be no more; though you look with care where they used to be, they will not be found [Hebrews 10:36,37; Revelation 21:7,8.] 11.But the meek [in the end] shall inherit the earth and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace [Psalm 37:29; Matthew 5:5.] 12.The wicked plot against the [uncompromisingly] righteous (the upright in right standing with God); they gnash at them with their teeth. 13.The Lord laughs at [the wicked], for He sees that their own day [of defeat] is coming. 14.The wicked draw the sword and bend their bows to cast down the poor and needy, to slay those who walk uprightly (blameless in conduct and conversation). 15.The swords [of the wicked] shall enter their own hearts, and their bows shall be broken. 16.Better is the little that the [uncompromisingly] righteous have than the abundance [of posessions] of many who are wrong and wicked. [1 Timothy 6:6,7.] 17.For the arms of the wicked shall be broken, but the Lord upholds the [consistently] righteous. 18.The Lord knows the days of the upright and blameless, and their heritage will abide forever. 19.They shall not be put to shame in the time of evil; and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied. 20.But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of the Lord shall be as the fat of the lambs [that is consumed in smoke] and as the glory of the pastures. They shall vanish; like smoke shall they consume away. 21.The wicked borrow and pay not again [for they may be unable], but the [uncompromisingly] righteous deal kindly and give [for they are able]. 22.For such as are blessed of God shall inherit the earth, but they that are cursed of Him shall be cut off [Isaiah 57:13c.] 23.The steps of a good man are directed and established by the Lord when He delights in His way [and he busies Himself with his every step] 24.Though he falls he shall not be utterly cast down, for the Lord grasps his hand in support and upholds him. 25.I have been young but now i am old, yet i have not seen the [uncompromisingly] righteous forsaken or their seed begging bread. 26.All day long they are merciful and deal graciously; they lend, and their offspring are blessed. 27.Depart from the evil and do good; and you will dwell forever [securely]. 28.For the Lord delights in justice and forsakes not His saints; they are preserved forever, but the offspring of the wicked [in time] shall be cut off. 29.Then the [consistently] righteous shall inherit the land and dwell upon it forever. 30.The mouth of the [uncompromisingly] righteous utters wisdom, and his tongue speaks with justice. 31.The law of God is in his heart; none of his steps shall slide. 32.The wicked lie in wait for the [uncompromisingly] righteous and seek to put them to death. 33.The Lord will not leave them in their hands, or [suffer them to] condemn them when they are judged. 34.Wait for and expect the Lord and keep heed His way, and He will exalt you to inherit the land; [in the end] when the wicked are cut off, you shall see it. 35.I have seen a wicked man in great power and spreading himself like a green tree in its native soil, 36.Yet he passed away, and behold he was not; yes, I sought and inquired for him, but he could not be found. 37.Mark the blameless man and behold the upright, for there is a happy end for the man of peace. 38.As for transgressors, they shall be destroyed together; in the end the wicked shall be cut off. 39.But the salvation of the [consistently] righteous is of the Lord; He is their Refuge and secure Stronghold in the time of trouble. 40.And the Lord helps them and delivers them; He delivers them from the wicked and saves them, because they trust and take refuge in Him.oh, and i'm a chick the name arbustum is latin for vineyard with many trees, see song of solomon 2:15, lol, and whats the abbreviation for that book anyway? Ps., Is., Jam., Rev. but what for song of solomon?

this morning i was walking to my work, but i need to pass the front of the shop to get to the rear, and God directed my eyes to a talisman that was placed above the shopfront on the top of the door, and God said so plainly "that has to go, its keeping me out and your business will fail if it remains, thats idol worship, my daughter" so i started talking to the agent who lost the auction, the same guy that placed the charm above the door and i read that psalm, 37 to him and he took it in and agreed to the prosperity in it but then when i told him it had to go he asked me if i knew what it was for, he was very freaked out, so the Holy Spirit informed me that it was for keeping spirits out, evil spirits at that but it keeps all spirits out... and thats what i said to him, so he agreed to take the talisman down and he also told me he'd leave the office for good, and he's taken the talisman and left, he stormed out. but i tell you, the Holy Spirit just fills this place and im here all alone but geez is he manifest! thankyou for your prayers, all of you, and now please pray for a softened heart on my boss's part when i have to relate the news to him... in his griparbustum.

yeah,i have to admit this place did feel a little creepy the moment he left but i totally declared Jesus' name in the place. and he came so completely! then i got a call from the old secretary that worked here before me, we've been confused because noone can get a hold of him and he's diverted his mobile to the office phone number so its crazy. then i got a call from my boss to find out what'd happened, and i still havent told him the complete story because something has interrupted us every time. but i feel he really needs to be here in person before i can talk to him about it. i cant believe how challenging this is to my faith! its amazing what a little talisman can do! but i've challenged someone on account of my faith, and they've reacted really badly. my boss understands that much because i have told him that much but he still has no idea the finer details, so its almost to a point of persecution, where he's already told me he thinks im religious (umm no!) and should have respected that other agent for his own beliefs. and therefore am i to keep silent when God is placed behind a box of comfort zones? No Way! so its a question of whether my belief should have come out in contradiction to anothers because it caused ill-feeling, only, i know i've done the right thing, but i'm also bracing myself for persecution for not keeping my mouth shut. i'm scared, but i guess its pretty petty compared to what some of the missionaries go through eh guys? but when you've never had to face something like that before it can be frightening, wow, i'm so blessed! score!

ok, its all sorted out now, just a question though, whats the go with Holy water? i mean i know its a catholic tradition, but that agent laft a bottle marked 'holy water' on his desk. i'm debating whether to place it outside or not... meanwhile, there's little work. i'm praying but there arent too many people offering us rental properties which we desperately need, also we need proper agents that are actually committed, we just dont have serious people in this office.

About the Holy Water, I think your boss, being a Christian, should take the decision as to what to do.

ohh help help help help! that guy's coming back, see the thing is he came to the shop last night and put that charm back up and its there, my boss just rang me to say so. this isnt cool at all! oh and i'm being transfered to a different company of my boss's. what can i do? i dont know if this is a resolution or a condemnation on this business.

sermonindex Jul 28, 2005

I think you should be praising the Lord that your boss has somewhere else for you to work, and will let you leave that office, seeing you don't agree with the talisman. Be grateful. :-)At the same time, if you did not put it there, and you do not worship it, the blood of Christ and the Holy Spirit, keep you free. You are not influenced by it, unless you allow yourself to be. Does that make sense? I know it would be better if it was not there, but, it is powerless over you. 8-)

Dorcas you're right. haha, i rebuked it though, lol, they have a broken charm devoid of whatever it was once full of now cos Jesus' name has been claimed over it. lol, would it be wrong to replace the holy water with ordinary tap water? lol, just kidding, you have a good outlook in your last response that i'll adopt into my own. i will praise God for the turn of events, its all in his hands anyway, it has been since the day i went in for the interview...

God gave me psalm 37 in 1990. I prayed it back to God in great dispair' for God to move on many things. I prayed it every day in hope, two and a half years solidly and then it comes back to me from time to time. And when he filled me in my home with his Holy Spirit in 1993, it was the first thing spoken in the first church that I went to. What a confirmation that this was the church he wanted me to attend at that time.I have never let go of this psalm. He has fulfilled verses bit by bit and I look forward, to its full fruition in my life and the lives of my children. Amen.Thankyou for bringing it to my mind.ellie

Ellie, you're beautiful, what a gorgeous woman of God you are! you realise that your words reflect your heart because from the overflow of the heart, the mouth speaks! bless you ellie, and i pray that psalm 37 holds alot more in your life than your imagination gives it credit. it is a psalm of victory and i love the essence of victory, especially when we take so much land over lucifer. you are a princess, a daughter of the Most High God and no matter your age you will always be God's little girl, he loves you so so much ellie, and for every day he's openly adopted you and loved you and watched you grow a tear of joy forms in his eye. you're so precious! -arbustum

As I read what you said I could feel the Holy Spirit stirring within with joy, excitement of the prospect of my journey with God. Although I am well and truly grounded on my feet. Your descriptive thread has so filled me with Awe and I believe God gave that to you, to encourage me to walk on and learn more and more of him, so that he can teach me in the way I should go. AmenI still feel that joy, it has added to my love for him.arbustum.. I believe that God is going to fill you with Great Boldness and a Beautiful Gentleness, Standing on His Word, as he prepares you for your journey with him.May your life be a light in the darkness.Amenellie.

She is a Gem in the Fathers eye. hallelua! praise to our Lord who is most worthy. This song has surfaced as I finshed the sentence above, it is part of a song we sing.....All Glory and honour and blessing, belong to you, belong to you.All Glory and honour and blessing, belong to you oh!
