And I am so glad that this dear brother points out how practicing the presence of God throughout the day has nothing to do with quietism or being passive. Instead, we respond in active faith to His ability within us. Thus, we participate in the life of Christ as lambs being led by the Good Shepherd.

Christ lives in us, and we are in Him.
We acknowledge that Christ is our life, and we abide in Him.

God has a part and so do we. We can’t do what only God can do, and God will not do what He has clearly told us to do by His Spirit and Word.
