Mat 11:4 Jesus answered and said unto them, Go and shew John again those things which ye do hear and see:
Mat 11:5 The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them.
Do you find it strange, that the LORD made such a distinction about the poor? HE distinctly leaves 98% of evangelicals in the USA out of the picture. The rich. "Oh but I'm not rich". HAHAHA. You haven't been where I have been. You are by far richer than any other people at any other time in history. Gluttonously RICH. And it is these same "rich" folks, that preachers target their message, in order to win numbers that equate into personal income, any way you slice it and dice it. So in reality, the TRUE GOSPEL OF REPENTANCE is not being heard in their pulpits. Small wonder the LORD has had to take it upon HIMself to shut these houses of ill repute down. You won't come out of them? HE settles the matter HIMself. HE shut the doors.
And the poor? They are still waiting and wanton. Their needs are not being met, and few, precious few, have heard the TRUE GOSPEL. They may have heard man's version, but not the KJV version. Oh no. That just want do.
First of all the poor have little money. So they are a liability to the religious business called CHURCH. A business overrun with liabilities, cannot continue to operate and prosper financially.
Jas 2:5 Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him?
Jas 2:6 But ye have despised the poor.
Ye have despised the poor and you will rot in your gluttonous greed. HIS kingdom is totally alien to most church folks. What is HIS kingdom?
Rom 14:17 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.
Where is this RIGHTEOUSNESS PREACHED? It's not! With very few exceptions. Small wonder there is no "joy in the HOLY SPIRIT" among them. Tragic deception. Tragic loss. Few if any seem to have a clue as to how to turn it around. After all that would mean giving up church as a business, and working charitably with those in need. Not exciting enough for you?
REPENT, or you shall likewise PERISH!!!!!
