One characteristic of the Welsh Revival Of 1904 was the singing that took place all over Wales. It was said that the miners could be heard singing hymns in the mines by the people above the ground.

A friend of mine said this: "This song reminds me of my trips to Wales where we sang hymns in ancient Welsh Cathedrals that were at the heart of the Welsh Revival.”
