Hello brothers and sisters,
I will be moving to Clarksville, TN in the next couple of days (Sunday march 14). Was just wondering if anyone knows of any churches they'd recommend or maybe even a gospel fellowship in or near the area? I don't currently have a vehicle so driving long distances may be an issue. Any information welcome.

Clarksville is about 3 and a half hours away from me. We live in Madisonville. I will pray our Lord gives you two or three brethren to fellowship with in Clarksville.
Added: If our Lord allows me perhaps I could drive that way within a few weeks to fellowship and see how your adjusting! Will seek Him on it!

I am about 90 minutes southeast of Clarksville. In fact I teach online part time for a career college based there. Great community.

I know prayer and seeking fellowship based on scripture is important but does anyone have any experience they'd like to share in seeking fellowship? I've listened to brother Zac Poonen on the matter and he mentions the importance of John 12:24.

In my search for a church, I used google maps to help find churches that were direclty nearby. I viewed their websites and read their statements of faith and looked at whatever information they put out about themselves. I started with the closest. I then came up with a list of the top 5 churches within a reasonable distance. Then, I began attending. I made it to the 2nd one and never left!
That doesn't seem profoundly spiritual, but if you can find a church nearby, even within the community you are located, then you can be 10x more effective a local ministry, evangelism, etc beause the church is near you.
If you can't find one that close, that's totally fine BUT that's how I usually start when I move to a new place.
