Greetings dear brethren.
It's about 3am local time here in Nigeria. My younger sister Damaris Ayong Atang and her 18months old baby, Haniel have just been kidnapped from her husband's house. I ask that you please raise prayers to the Lord together with us.

They made her call our father and officially declare her kidnap. She also said the baby is sick at the moment. The kidnappers did not speak or make any demands yet. Please keep praying because the government is almost powerless regarding such kidnappings and rising violence in the country. The only help we have is Jesus. it's almost useless to even report to the police. such kidnappings sometimes end up deadly. Please pray

Just came back from her house. I confirmed that the baby is indeed sick. She was planning to take him to the hospital this morning and they were taken at night. Meaning that the baby might remain untreated for God know how long! That's a big concern for us now.
The kidnappers came on foot and they trekked away into the hills. It's a mountainous area with many caves and hidden places. Local vigilantes just came back without success.
The kidnappers called again and said they will be calling later in the evening.
So all we are doing now is waiting and praying.

The Lord has done it. My sister and the baby became like hot fire in the hands of the kidnappers. They were constantly fighting within themselves. Security personnel were not involved or anything, -Just prayers.
The kidnappers became more anxious to part with their captives than we were to get them back. They just collected the ransom that was offered and released them. The baby came back still sick but miraculously holding up.
So many wonderful testimonies in-between.
