Joe 2:12 Therefore also now, saith the LORD, turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning:
Joe 2:13 And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the LORD your God: for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil.
Oh beloved, this whole heart REPENTANCE has always been the cry of every single prophet in the Bible. Note in vs 12 it plainly says "with ALL YOUR HEART". That has never changed. There is no Bible concept of repenting for this sin or that sin. YESHUA (JESUS) did not die for some sins, but all of them. HIS forgiveness is contingent on us offering HIM our whole heart (self will), ending it's reign of terror within. We repent when we STOP SINNING willfully. It is a choice we make. We set our heart to obey, no matter the cost, ending our siege of disrespect and rebellion against HIS moral kingdom. HE comes in like a flood. Gracious and merciful, full of forgiveness. And the price HE paid to ransom us from the clutches of death into resurrection life, was paid in full. The FAITH that saves, is the faith that OBEYS.
There is no other plan of "salvation". We repent and return, HE forgives and blesses. But we must repent with ALL OUR HEART. Partial repentance will never suffice. If we, then HE. That is HIS offer to us. Have you surrendered all your self will, what YOU want, for HIS will? What HE wants? In all things? Well have you? Or, are there certain sins that you just won't let go of? Friend, we must get it right, according to HIS word and not man's opinion. Bring your sin and self will to the CROSS and be crucified with HIM. HE has eternal life waiting for you, if only you will......... Bro Lahry
