How Can You Help On December 1st -
The Day Of Oral Argument In Dobbs?
Dear Friends and Supporters of The Moral Outcry, Operation Outcry, and The Justice Foundation:
Where will you be on December 1st? This is a most important question as the most important case before the Supreme Court since 1992 will be argued on December 1st at 10:00 AM Eastern Time at the U.S. Supreme Court. What case is that? That is the day when the Supreme Court will consider whether to allow Mississippi’s ban on late term abortion after 15 weeks to be upheld as constitutional or whether it will strike down the law as a previability ban on abortion. The case is called Dobbs, et al v. Jackson Women’s Health, et al. The Moral Outcry and Operation Outcry Brief is there! Where will you be?
This case could actually determine whether or not Roe v. Wade will be reversed and whether abortion can be banned by the states. As a signer of The Moral Outcry Petition, or a supporter of Operation Outcry (Women Injured By Abortion), or as a friend of The Justice Foundation, the lawyers for these clients, you believe that abortion should be illegal and that Roe v. Wade is unconstitutional.
WHAT CAN YOU DO? MOST OF YOU ARE NOT LAWYERS.
You have several options. We believe that God hates the shedding of innocent blood (Proverbs 6:17) and that God is ending the "covenant with death”, the "agreement with the grave", (Isaiah 28:14-22) that are Roe v. Wade, Doe v. Bolton, and Planned Parenthood v. Casey, the courts’ abortion jurisprudence. We believe it is incredibly important to pray and listen to the Oral Argument on that day. No matter where you are, at 10:00am Eastern Time, you may join an audio from the Supreme Court or C-SPAN and listen to this most important argument in 30 years. Not since 1992 in Planned Parenthood v. Casey, has the Court actually considered whether the supposed right to abortion should be continued or reversed. You may also watch the rally at 8:00am eastern standard time and the Oral Argument at 10:00am eastern standard time on www.nationaldayofrepentance.org.
IN YOUR HOME OR CITY
In addition, The Justice Foundation is leading the way in partnership with over 70 other Christian and pro-life ministries and millions of pro-lifers, for 40 hours of free online prayer and discussion in a National and International Day of Repentance and Solemn Assemblies regarding abortion on December 1, across the nation and the world. During these 40 hours of prayer the day before, the day of, and the day after the event, no matter where you are, including anywhere around the world, you can join with Americans and individuals from other countries praying for repentance and the reversal of Roe v. Wade. We believe that America has committed the four great sins that can, and will lead to national destruction, if there is not sufficient repentance and return to God:
1. Forsaking God; Jeremiah 15:6; 2 Kings 17:7-18, (26 verses total in Bible)
2. Shedding innocent blood; Isaiah 59:7-8, Exodus 20:13, Deut. 19:19, (100 verses total)
3. Sexual immorality on a vast scale; and Rev. 9:21, Rev. 2:14, Jude 1:7
4. Greed. Ezekiel 16:49, others.
By participating in and encouraging others to join during these 40 hours, no matter where you are, you can help lead America back to God and restore proper respect for the law of God to American life. We need to be a Christian nation with religious liberty again.
You might want to attend a prayer meeting or solemn assembly in your neighborhood, in your church, in your city. Take this invitation to the leadership in your city or church and start something of your own. Here is a prayer guide you can follow.
You can be part of Attorney General Lynn Fitch's rally in front of the Supreme Court from 8:00 AM to 12 noon on the day of Oral Argument. There will also be numerous other events that you could attend, if you desire to go. WEAR BLUE!
In these troubled times, please prayerfully consider whether or not you should attend. We come in the spirit of love, not a spirit of hate. We shall and must come in a spirit of life, not murder. We come in the spirit of peace, not anger. We serve the Prince of Peace, not the Prince of Death.
