What do you feel like God is speaking to you about what He is doing and getting ready to do?

I realize this is kind of a wide open question, but I am curious. When I am around other men and women of God, I often ask them what they are hearing from God about what He is doing and what is coming in the near future. I have had a number of men of God who I know walk near to Him tell me independently almost word for word the same thing in the last year or so. I am just curious as to what folks that use this forum are hearing from the Lord.

Are these people in "the prophetic stream?” You may have no idea what I am talking about but when I used to attend a more charismatic church I heard the exact same kind of talk. You could even take a class to learn how to get "prophetic” words from the Lord.

Todd: I am trying to think of exactly how to word this. I really appreciate your input. Since I have not met you personally, I have to go off of what I read here, but I think we would get along really well. So I hope what I say is not taken wrong. Don't think it will be given the general tenor of your remarks that I read.

I find it interesting how we often classify and make judgements about different streams. I know something about this, because I have been super guilty of it myself from time to time.

Every believer is intended by God to be "prophetic" if we define that term as operating in the supernatural gifts of the Holy Spirit as a normal part of their walk with the Lord. And, if we define the term as hearing the voice of God speaking to them regularly as well. In fact, it is the one thing that we are told to not only covet, but covet earnestly. It is the only thing about which coveting is a good thing in scripture.

The short answer is no, many if not most of the men I am hearing are not part of the "prophetic" stream the way you are, I think, using the term. However, every one of them are men who move regularly in the prophetic gifts.

Every one of us have some doctrinal points that, I am sure, we are going to find out in the end were a little on the goofy side. Praise God that being completely correct doctrinally is not the criteria for relationship with God. Some in every stream are really extreme and off the rails. We should be able to recognize that and be wary. But there are those in every stream who have vibrant and active walks with God and to whom He speaks, even if they seem a bit off to those of other streams. It is good to walk with men and women of all streams and get to know their hearts.

Just a few thoughts that hopefully answer your concerns.

I would really find it interesting to know what God has been speaking to you about the times we are living in and what He is doing and is about to do. I know I usually appreciate what you have to say on the forum.

I don’t disagree with anything you said. I know truly "prophetic” people - I know it when I see it. But there are so many flakes out there we have to be cautious.

Strangely enough, I have not had any strong sense of a word from the Lord about the times we are in, other than what can obviously be seen. I do not try to fit current events into scripture because I personally don’t think a lot of scripture pertains to our current events.

The only strong sense I have is to maintain my relationship with the Lord. I trust Him to speak to me in a special way as needed and I certainly trust Him to speak to my wife as needed. She has a very special closeness to Jesus.

That said, I am curious what others are hearing. I am intrigued by Fletcher’s post but it is a little too cryptic for me to fully understand it.

What are the people you reference saying?

We that are born again are the Lord’s sheep, and we do hear His voice. It is not usually an audible voice but a still small voice.

How many of you are having the Word of God being revealed, and then you hear the same thing over and over again from other believers.

"I will shake all the nations; and they will come with the wealth of all nations, and I will fill this house with glory,’ says the LORD of armies.” (Haggai 2.7).

"See that you do not refuse him who is speaking. For if they did not escape when they refused him who warned them on earth, much less shall we escape if we reject him who warns from heaven. His voice then shook the earth; but now he has promised, "Yet once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heaven." This phrase, "Yet once more," indicates the removal of what is shaken, as of what has been made, in order that what cannot be shaken may remain. Therefore let us be grateful for receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, and thus let us offer to God acceptable worship, with reverence and awe; for our God is a consuming fire.” (Hebrews 12:26-29).

Has God been speaking to any of you about this shaking? It is happening. Jesus Christ is the only foundation that we can build our house on. We are receiving a Kingdom that Cannot be shaken.

The Lord is speaking many things in these days but His word "occupy till I come" has been a specially re-occuring thought. His return is near, be about the business of ministering to Him and be a blessing to others.

I do feel like the Lord is purifying His bride. There has been and continues to be a separating of those who are truly after Him and those who are not, but have acted as though they were.

But the message I have heard over and over again is about a great move of the Holy Spirit that is coming through the church. I have heard several man refer to it in this way. It will be what we can only describe as the third great awakening.

As we were in prayer a few months ago, the Lord showed me a large map of the United States, made of something like plastic. Where I live in the Southwest Missouri / Northwest Arkansas region there appeared a little pipe and from that pipe a fountain began to spring forth. But the water did not flow away from the fountain. The fountain assumed a shape as if it had a face and began looking around. Soon, in another part of the U.S., another similar fountain sprang up. When the two fountains saw each other, their water began to flow towards each other. Soon more fountains also did the same and the map began to be covered with water.

The Lord spoke to me that He was raising up regional moves that would connect with one another and that this connection would result in a great revival.

Now, where I am is nothing special. I believe God is moving all over the place. But He has been speaking to men around our area about this move. He spoke to a man who asked to walk and pray around the property our church is on about five years ago. This man said the Lord told him the geographical extent of a move of God in our particular region. About six months ago, another pastor from Oklahoma told me that God spoke to him about a geographical move in this area. He gave me the exact same boundaries that the other man had prophesied six years before. And in a totally unrelated event, a visiting minister from the East Coast, in yet another meeting in a nearby town, related that God told him he was at the northern extremity of a geographical move of God in our region.

It seems wherever I speak with men of God I am hearing virtually the same thing. There is a coming move of the Holy Spirit in the U.S. that can only be described as a third great awakening. For those of you in other countries, I don't think it is limited to the U.S., but that is where I live so that is where God speaks to me about I guess.

I do believe this move will be different than many in the past. I think we would be foolish to try to expect it to look the same or to try to pattern something after any past work. I think the power that the New Testament church walked in is returning to the church along with the separation from the world and the holiness that goes along with it. I think God is purifying His bride, and I think that the bride is going to truly be a glorious church, the body of Christ, filled with His fulness and walking in His power and glory. I think a great harvest of souls is going to be the result.

So, I am excited about living in this time. I honestly believe I will probably see the return of the Lord with my own eyes. But if I don't, I know for sure I am getting ready to see a move of God like I have never experienced in my life.

So I was very curious about what others might be sensing or hearing from the Lord in different parts of this nation, and in different parts of the world.

I don't want to rain on your parade, nor do I want to be pessimistic. But I don't believe there's going to be any such move in that direction.

And whoever these men are who are prophesying such things, I would advise you to stop listening to them.

I believe the very opposite is on the horizon. Either I am not hearing clearly, or they're prophesying a vision out of their own minds which is NOT the LORD's.

December 14 2021 To whom has some much more, much more will be given but to who has not even what little they had will be taken away. God will be giving those that hunger and thirst a new identity mantle that will bring them into a new place of knowing who they are and who I am says the Lord. On the children of the last days I myself, pour out my image upon them and in them, and reveal to them their new linage, they will forget who they were and remember who they are , for these will be my heavenly children who have partaken in my incorruptible seed. This new mantle will not come and go like other mantles and this mantle will be grafted upon my children, and will become who they are, they will no longer see themselves as part of any earthly kingdom or earthly linage, Adam and Eve will be a thing of the past a distant forgotten memory. No longer will they call anyone on Earth their parents for they will know me in a new way and will learn of their new identity in my son, this has been my plan before the foundation of the world to bless this generation the children of the last days with multiple mantels which will never be taken from them but which will Mark them out and the world will know that I the LORD have done this and I will get glory and praise from this, and the gospel of the kingdom will be preached by all the sons and daughters of the kingdom in all their fullness.This will be my great awakening and final renewal they will prepare the way for my son, for the greater works will be done, and many in the world will glorify my name because of this, my angels are preparing multiple mantels now, so be ready and expect my blessing to come upon you and rejoice for the day is at hand. Some will fall but others will rise, into a new place of spiritual awakening, mercy will be my new helmet that they shall wear, and Grace should be upon their foreheads, Pride will be thing of the past, for humility will be who they are, for my spirit will forever transform their soul. For my spirit will finally become one with their soul, and we will become one soul together says the LORD

A great blessing is coming and it will begin with the remnant, the olive trees will be fed by the hand of God ,he will nurture and tend to them with great care ,the fruit will be full and fat ,from it will he produce the finest of oils that this world has even seen , the oil will heal and soothe the eyes of the blind ,and many will see the light , and become wise carriers and full vessels,with trimmed wicks they will burn with a clean flame ,and shine into the darkests places,shining hope where there there is none , breaking chains ,and feeding the flock with special manner ,manner that god has chosen to give ,and a new type of strength will come from this manner,God has mixed glory with this bread, those that eat it will filled with revelation ,and they will share the wine and rejoice in there god will be there new name ,for there will be no more shame amongst this people of God ,but a spotless bride will they become and they will express holiness throughout this earth ,and the angles will dance ,at the song the bride sings ,the sound will go out to the ends of the earth,and her words to the end of the world says the lord . The righteous are going to get more righteous and the wicked will get more wicked as none of the wicked will understand. Anti-church sentiment and anti-semitism will grow as the controversy over the Jewish presence in Palestine will continue to fester and grow until it threatens world peace. Guided by prophetic scripture already spoken and the Holy Spirit, the true church should not find itself stumbling along in a confused and defeated manner. It will understand the times, and stripped and sheared of its own presumption to rely on the power of the flesh, it will be a severely tried but OVERCOMING church moving in the power of the Holy Spirit. Multitudes upon multitudes will come into the kingdom even as the last day's Jewish controversy of Zion will engulf the world.

But they OVERCAME.....

No revival Has ever come but through prayer and repentance, and we are now seeing a remnant of the Church waking up, and the fire of God beginning to fall. It is happening in our corporate gatherings of prayer and intercession.

Mike: There are pockets around the country of people who are once again running after God with their whole heart. They are dying to self and truly finding their life in Him. They are characterized by His power and holiness manifested through their lives. We are seeing it where we are at as well. God is shaking everything in us that can be shaking. He is purifying a bride and she is going to be clothed in His glory.
