I have been thinking a lot of late about the lamb of god and how we perceive him now after his ascension, and find importantly interesting, the book of revelations in Johns's vision he was still seen as the lamb even after the end of the age in the new Jerusalem, I believe that he remains for eternity as the glorified lamb with all his strips and wounds and as our high priest, with his blood being seen as a memorial forever upon the mercy seat.
