Brother Stephen Kaung has passed away at the age of 107

Dear Brethren,

Apparently our Brother Stephen Kaung passed away at the age of 107 years old. Brother Kaung was a disciple of Watchman Nee when they ministered together in China. This was a brother who spoke deeply on the Eternal Purpose of God - being that Christ dwells in His people corporately so that we become His New Jerusalem in the world to come. I had the privilege of meeting him when he preached here in Toronto back in 2016. He was a humble servant of the Lord. I remember I asked him what Watchman Nee was like, and Brother Kaung simply said, "Ordinary." In other words, he meant to say we should not put men on a pedestal.

Let us keep his family and church in our prayers. Amen!

Amazing... I listened to a couple of his sermons he preached when it was well over a hundred years of age.

He once said that he wanted the lord to take him as early as possible, but the Lord un-answered his prayer in an amazing way..

I got a chance to meet Stephen Kaung in Richmond Virginia where he was ministering at the Christian Family Conference. Stephen Kaung has teachings that he did back in the 60’s in Richmond Virginia ,
and was still ministering at this conference 50 years later.
