Prayer for my Dad

Hey everyone, can you pray for my Dad Vern he has been in and out of the hospital a lot the two months. He has diabetes. Afib, and breathing problems because of past smoking. My dad is not saved also and has not showed much interest in the things of God. My church has been praying for him and I have been everyday. Would you please lift him up along with us. I can tell he not doing today and is in desperate need of divine intervention. Lord Jesus please have mercy on my Dad in Jesus name amen

O Father of mercies and God of all comfort, our only help in time of need: We humbly beseech you to behold, visit, and relieve your sick servant Vern. for whom our prayers are desired. Look upon him with the eyes of your mercy; comfort him with a sense of your goodness; preserve him from the temptations of the enemy; and give him patience under his affliction. In your good time, restore him to health, and enable him to lead the remainder of his life in your fear, and to your glory; and grant that finally he may dwell with you in life everlasting; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Hey guys, my dad is back home from the hospital and my pastor was actually able to go to the hospital and pray over him but my dad was still being a little stubborn and saying I’m Catholic I don’t believe in the same God that my son does. But he let Pastor pray over him. But it was a little discouraging to hear him say that. His health is still not doing very good he’s been laying in bed a lot. Your prayers for him I deeply appreciate it. His name is Vern. He has a Catholic upbringing and Amish. But he still leans back on his traditions of the Catholic faith. His health isn’t doing great and I know it’s very hard for him right now to even probably think about spiritual things. He has breathing issues and many other things that I don’t know about.
