2Ti 1:1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, according to the promise of life which is in Christ Jesus,
Those who are personally connected to the HOLY SPIRIT through faith as evidenced by their passion for holiness and obedience, know and understand that they are what they are in HIS body, by HIS will and not their own, or some other "authority". Paul deemed himself chief among sinners, the worst of the worst, before CHRIST. How could it possibly be, that he was chosen of YEHOVAN to be an apostle, and not of man?
First of all, YEHOVAH does what pleases HIMself. Paul was groomed from the womb, to be defeated in his religious pursuits. It would take the manifest presence of YEHOVAH/YESHUA to change him. Yet Paul's eyes were open. He himself later described all of his religiosity as worth no more than dung, for the riches of CHRIST. He was anointed from on HIGH, a privilege no man can convey. The will of YEHOVAH prevails over all religious pursuits and dismal failures. When the sweet becomes bitter within, and we can stand our sin soaked hypocritical selves no longer, HIS will moves in, to reveal our created identity and point of service in HIS body. So be it. Glory to HAYAH. HE alone is the certain and final authority. We cannot be like any other person. We are uniquely HIS creation, and our only success is to function as the part in HIS body that HE has created us for. We are to imitate the MESSIAH and no other. We are to die to selfish and self exalting ambition. We must take up the loss of our own life, in order to walk in the newness of HIS life within. And we are to follow HIM, today, now. So be it.
