Jeremiah 25:1 The word that came to Jeremiah concerning all the people of Judah in the fourth year of the reign of Jehoiakim son of Josiah king of Judah””which was the first year of the reign of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon””
2 Which Jeremiah the prophet spoke to all the people of Judah and to all the inhabitants of Jerusalem:
3 For these twenty-three years””from the thirteenth year of Josiah son of Amon king of Judah, even to this day””the word of the Lord has come to me and I have spoken to you persistently early and late, but you have not listened and obeyed.
And so it is today, right before our very eyes. Speak obedience and holiness to people, they will not hear to it, nor yield to the voice of the MOST HIGH ELOHIM, as spoken through ALL the TRUE prophets. Turn from your evil ways and evil doings.
4 Although the Lord persistently sent you all the prophets, His servants, yet you have not listened and obeyed or [even] inclined your ear to hear.
And so it is today, right where you are.
5 [The prophets came on My behalf] saying, Turn again now every one from his evil way and wrongdoing; [that you may not forfeit the right to] dwell in the land that the Lord gave to you and to your fathers from of old and forevermore.
6 Do not go after other gods to serve and worship them, and do not provoke Me to anger with the works of your hands. Then I will do you no harm.
7 Yet you have not listened to and obeyed Me, says the Lord, that you might provoke Me to anger with the works (idols) made by your hands to your own hurt.
8 Therefore thus says the Lord of hosts: Because you have not heard and obeyed My words,
9 Behold, I will send for all the tribes of the north, says the Lord, and I will send for Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, My servant [or agent to fulfill My designs], and I will bring them against this land and its inhabitants and against all these nations round about; and I will devote them [to God] and utterly destroy them and make them an amazement, a hissing, and perpetual and agelong desolations.
10 Moreover, I will take from them the voice of mirth and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, the sound of the millstones [grinding out the meal] and the light of the candle [which every home burned throughout the night].
Not much mirth in Florida today. Some are likely thankful to be alive. Few if any have any thought to repent. And the same is happening the world over. Wars, floods, earthquakes, volcanos, hurricanes, you name it.
You don't want to serve the LORD on HIS terms and not man's? Fine. Have it your way. But all you are doing is paving the road that leads to destruction. YEHOVAH cannot possibly be whom HE says HE is, if HE fails to judge and punish wickedness, individually, and collectively. So be it.
And for the righteous today?
Rev_2:10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.
Ten days - As the days in this book are what is commonly called prophetic days, each answering to a year, the ten years of tribulation may denote ten years of persecution/tribulation.
I stated at the end of 2019 that the 2020's could be these same 10 years of time. And things will get worse as we march on through each year of this decade. And so it has been, and continues today. Yet folks will not repent. CHURCH PEOPLE! REPENT!!!!
You have eyes that don't see, and ears that don't hear. So be it, until the LORD says it is enough, and perhaps HIS mercy will abound as promised.
Rom 11:32 For God has consigned (penned up) all men to disobedience, only that He may have mercy on them all [alike].
ALL men. Church people too. Thing is, none of us has a promise of tomorrow, much less making through these 10 years of tribulation. (not 7 years, 10 years). These things are HIS mercy. Better to have tribulation today, and repent, than be lost for all eternity. Today is the day to REPENT - STOP SINNING. Turn from your evil ways, idolatry, greed, gluttony, and immorality, and serve the LORD in holiness. Sweep out all the leaven in your home, and serve HIM in purity of heart and mind, guarding your mind and heart, from all spiritual vice, every word that is a stronghold of lust and iniquity in your life. Stop it. Today. Serve the LORD now, or you will surely perish. Selah.
