2Th 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
A very familiar vs for most of us. But do we really understand what the Apostle is saying, or do we simply believe what we have been told by the parrots?
The vs is of course speaking about the "gathering" of the renmant saints unto the LORD. (not to be confused with the pre-trib rapture myth). And this text lists two things that must happen FIRST.
The first is "falling away". And falling away from what? Well, we have been led to believe that those who fall away from TRUTH are those spoken of here as they fall away from "church". But quite the opposite is revealed upon a closer look. The falling away is speaking of those who have fallen INTO TRUTH, and have abandoned denominationalism and traditions of men. They have walked away from churchanity, all the daughters of the great whore. By their own admission, they are protesting catholics, yet catholic none-the-less.
TRUTH shines light into dark places. Those who see these things previously hidden have the grace and sense enough to walk away from such deceptions of men that have been around since and long before the Book of Acts.
See, the falling away, or apostasy is defined as:
the abandonment or renunciation of a religious or political belief
For 17 Centuries, there has been an imprisonment of deception put upon men as the "TRUTH". But not biblical TRUTH. Oh no. We are talking about man's interpretation and traditional inventions of religious behavioral mandates placed upon the backs of men and women, such burdens as are never spoken of in rightly dividing the word of TRUTH.
Today, I am seeing with my own eyes, that HIS spiritual light is shinning in dark places, and those who are really "sola scriptura" are seeing the deceptions of men for what they really are, and they are called out from among these perpetrators of lies and deceptions of men.
YESHUA came to atone (at-one) for us, and to expose the deceptions of men who at the time, and for times to come were leaders of judahism. Blind leading the blind. Those traveling over land and see to make converts to their version of religiosity, causing them to become twice the child of hell that the jewish leaders were. YESHUA came to call men out of such evil. And so did the Apostles.
Why do we call so many centuries "dark ages" since the first century generally, and since the fourth century in particular? Because they were the dark ages of mostly catholic tyranny. And the protesting catholics (protestants) have been no better. One need only read about the originally anabapists, and who tortured them, to see that it was not just catholics who were torture specialists. Luther and Calvin alike gave approval for such extremes of perdition.
So I see this newly emergence of REVELATION LIGHT shinning forth that is leading many to a new life experience of apostasy. Coming out of the bondage of religion, and coming into the liberty of rejoicing in CHRIST and HIS shed blood for us.
Rom 16:17 Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.
This avoiding them is bursting forth as "churchanity" and all it's glory is being abandoned for the TRUTH that is in YESHUA HA'MACHIACH and HIM CRUCIFIED. HALLELUYAH! I am so encouraged. I hear new testimony every day as the numbers increase, I now realize that this is the great "falling away" that the great Apostle prophesied so many years ago. Falling away is not falling away from faith, but falling away from the deceptions of religious tyranny and institutionalism. HIS body is NOT an INSTITUTION.
The second part that must happen BEFORE HIS coming again, is found in vs 3 above, that the man of sin, the son of perdition is revealed.
That man of sin - Ὁ ανθÏωπος της ἁμαÏτιας· The same as the Hebrew expresses by ×יש ×ון ish aven, and ×יש בליעל ish beliyaal; the perverse, obstinate, and iniquitous man. It is worthy of remark that, among the rabbins, Samael, or the devil, is called ×יש בליעל ו×יש ×ון ish beliyaal veish aven, the man of Belial, and the man of iniquity; and that these titles are given to Adam after his fall.
The son of perdition - Ὁ υἱος της απωλειας· The son of destruction; the same epithet that is given to Judas Iscariot, Joh_17:12 (note). The son of perdition, and the man of sin, or, as some excellent MSS. and versions, with several of the fathers, read, ανθÏωπος της ανομιας, the lawless man (as in "anti-nomian), see 2Th_2:8, must mean the same person or thing. It is also remarkable that the wicked Jews are styled by Isaiah, Isa_1:4, ×‘× ×™× ×ž×©×—×™×ª×™× benim mashchithim, "children of perdition;” persons who destroy themselves and destroy others.
There could be no greater danger in our midst today. These who are the embodiment of all deceptions of religion, no matter the label. They offer promises that YEHOVAH will never feel obligated to keep, because the promises they preach are without the necessity of response in obedience on the part of the Believer. The eternal lake of torment awaits such as these. Come out from among them and be ye separate. Touch not this unclean thing any longer.
So folks are awaiting the arrival of this son of perdition, when in reality, they are the sons of perdition, destroying themselves and others by teaching this abomination to others. Lies the Bible does not teach! HAVE NO PART WITH THEM.
Well, I guess that's enough for now. I could go on. But I'm telling you, that we all need to take a real close look at this, and the deceptions of satan in the heart of men, that has put FEAR in people's hearts, and reassured them that they are on the narrow way, all the while trying to convince them in fear, that they are apostates who have left their evil religious kingdoms for TRUTH in CHRIST.
Shout me down if you must. But the apostasy is here. New testimonies voiced every day. The son(s ) of perdition have been with us for centuries. And now THIS TRUE GOSPEL is preached among every nation, thanks to the internet technology. GLORY! Gabriel is just waiting for the nod, to sound the last TRUMP (not the Donald).
