Lord, make me like manna! Its source is heaven: it is not a framing of man nor of any being on earth. It descends from heaven, therefore it is above all. It is of God parentage, thus it overcomes the world: for whatever is born of God, overcomes the world.
Oh, that I might always come from above; proceeding from His presence: fresh and undiluted; for it is only those that come from thence that can be bread and bring bread to the Israel of God, the church. There is no bread in this wilderness, anything that looks like one, is but a poisonous mushroom; a baked sawdust and loaf, largely made of pure yeast!
Only manna can satisfy. Oh Lord, may I satisfy the Church...please, let me hear thee saying, 'Come up hither!' Pull me up so that when I am coming down, I shall manna(bread, nourishment and refreshments) be to the church! He that is from the earth is earthly and can and would only speak basely and fleshly: but he that is from above is heavenly and accordingly, speaks of the higher and surer things
To speak heavenly, I must proceed from there! Who can talk about heaven but he that has ascended there by revelation? Paul went up by revelation.(Gal. 1-5) There, the language understood by conscience is learnt and mastered. Dear God, teach me the language of conscience, where the spark of conviction and conversion is birthed.
Then, arise oh my soul and ascend thou with the angels that ascend by this ladder. Go meet Him yonder to learn this tongue, lest thou be a blunt scalp.
Please draw and pull me up there, so that I can learn that language that can prick the conscience; making it to cry out, 'Men and brethren, what shall we do?' Still yet, 'What shall I do to be saved?' To preach with another language, is but a waste of time.
Make me a manna! Let me come from above! Oh be thou my source, thou king of heaven! Oh to speak to feed men! To satisfy them with manna sweet! Amen! To be continued!
