''Draw me, we will run after thee: the king hath brought me into his chambers: we will be glad and rejoice in thee, we will remember thy love more than wine: the upright love thee''
Whenever God sets out to help a people, He picks a man from amongst them and advance him for the sake of the said people. At what time He plans to make a whole nation runs after Him in holiness and righteousness, He would draw a citizen of that nation to himself. No man is helped solely for the sake of himself: God's mercy is too weighty to be exercised just on a person exclusively; His mercy is extensive, diffusing and spreading; it casts its shadow-shade on many people. The mercy of God is liken to a leaven, which spreads through the whole lump with just a little measure. If God has truly drawn a man to himself, others close to him would run after God with him. Let a man be genuinely visited by God, and others would receive grace from this visitation. So, no man rises or falls alone: if he rise, he takes many people up with himself; and if he go down, he goes down not alone. Saints, if we strive for God's drawing grace and get it, many shall be made to run after our God! Brothers dear, do you know how many souls our sloths have made sluggish? Are we aware that our worldliness has made many carnally minded; our prayer-less has set decay into the prayer life of many? Enquire and know, that how a sore upon you, set pains on the whole body of Christ, if you are truly a member of that mystic body. Wake up from slumber, and many would be out of their grave. Your stirring from slumber is a trumpet loud enough to wake many people up! After the man at the beautiful gate was healed, in Acts 3, in the 4th chapter, we are told that five thousand souls flocked into the kingdom of God. Our activation, is a help to others' awakening. Oh that I may be an example of swiftness, zeal, urgency, strictness and exactness to the believers world over! Draw me, and many will run after you! Oh my king, bring me into your inner chambers, and I and many will be made glad and rejoice in thee! Amen
