''Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God''
Dare none call himself a 'servant of Christ' who has not willingly separated, and committed himself and all he has to the service of the gospel of Christ. If what Christ minded during the days of His flesh, and what He busies Himself about now in God's presence in Heaven, that is, the salvation of all men, becomes a man's sole reason for existence, this man can be safely called 'the servant of Christ.' It passes for self-deception to hold oneself out as Christ's servant, when what a man lives for is not the Gospel of Christ but the goods of Christ. The gospel is not truly believed, if our acceptance of it does not consists in the dedication of our all to its spread. That which does not 'enslave' us, is not really believed by us in the first place. A man should be willing and glad to wear chains and fetters for his belief, yes, embraces death for it, if need be. That religion that takes not away our liberty, is not actually believed in by us. If the Faith in Christ, yes, the gospel of Christ, makes not a slave of any, same should suspect that he may not be one of them that believe in the it. All true believers in the gospel of Christ are such that are sent forth with a mission--they are ambassadors or emissaries by invitation, being ones having been marked off by boundaries, parted away and determined by bounds; separated away and limited off; delineated; defined for and to the gospel. Friends, our gospel marks off by boundaries whoever accepts it. We need to tell new converts from the outset of their walk with God, that they have been called, not only to believe the gospel, but to slave for its spread through out the world. To be a servant of Christ, consists, to a large degree, in been set aside for the well being of the message of the salvation in Him.
