SOWER, GO ON SOWING

Sower, go on sowing;
Hold not back thy seeds:
Fallow ground, be breaking;
Sowing not among weeds!

In thy bag, lie sacred grains:
Go scatter them on the field!
Remiss purchaseth banes:
Pray, send thy see afield!

Oh be heard not saying:
'See, hitherto had I toiled,
Yet, I see no true profiting!'
So that thou be not foiled.

When planted, thou hast;
Or hast done watering
The seed into the soil cast,
Beg for the divine influencing?

Withdraw thy influence divine:
Fast shall come grace's decline!
What of woman born is so strong
To his stability and sanity prolong?

If God withdraw influence divine:
Fast shall come grace's decline!
Behold, continuity and constancy,
Lie only in divine bounty!
