Is. 1:3 The ox [instinctively] knows his owner, and the donkey his master’s crib, but Israel does not know or recognize Me [as Lord], My people do not consider or understand.
CHURCH PEOPLE. They don't recognize YEHOVAH is LORD, MASTER OF ALL!!! They cry out they are "HIS people". Really? Their actions pervert their oath. One week it is "praise HIM, praise HIM"> The next week when our flesh demands we give into it's lusts, we cry "crucify HIM"! Oh the shame of it all.
HIS word has seemingly endless prophecies of blessings. But it also contains so many "curses", by the SAME HOLY SPIRIT. If you are yet confused about who is who in your life, read the whole chapter of Dt 28. Blessings are for the obedient. Read this chapter. It details the depth of the blessings. Are the blessings and promises for all? YES!!!! ALL OF THOSE WHO OBEY HIM, as should be obvious. Sadly, it is not so obvious in today's man centered "what's in it for me" church paradigm. If you are yet unrepentant, and ask yourself "what's in it for me"? Read the last half of Dt 28, darling. Those promises are sure and they are for you, and your family.
I only find one, other than the LORD, who was in line with HIS heart with the proper approach to our duty to our CREATOR. And his name was JOB.
HE said, "Though HE slay me, yet will I praise HIM". Whew, that is the epitome of sainthood. Total pure faith in the midst of unbelievable trial and tribulation.
Then there is YEHSUA. The very GLORY of HAYAH among us. HE came to love, in the most perfect way, and we esteemed HIM not. And it is no different today. Man is still quite center stage in his/her life. "Faith" is not about salvation. Faith today is a hope for a life of ease, comfort, and pleasure. This kind of faith is like pouring water into a sieve, hoping to catch enough to take a drink. It leads to hopelessness, despair, and depression. For it cannot ever at any time release the promises DIVINE for those who OBEY HIM. HIS promise of manifestation for each one of us new creation sanctified for holiness saints is found in John 14:21. Most don't pay this any mind at all, because most church people have no heart to be holy. They cry out to HIM for comfort and personal GREED. Then when the manifestation of HIS presence does not happen, we despair, all the while keeping "perma-gin" on our faces. After all, we would not want our pastors or brethren to know we are a total blind fake of humanity.
My friends, today is the day of salvation. Today is the day to lose your life, that you may keep it.
1Pe 2:1 Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings,
1Pe 2:2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:
1Pe 2:3 If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious.
1Pe 2:4 To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious,
1Pe 2:5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
1Pe 2:6 Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded.
1Pe 2:7 Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner,
1Pe 2:8 And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.
That's a promise too. Is it for you?
