I am wanting to know if anyone has any informtion of the members or christian workers pictured in the apostolic faith band wuth charles F. Parham.


They are featured in the book Annointed to serve p. 193 by William Menzies. They also can be googled.

I don’t have any information about this particular Apostolic Faith Band, but I do know that William Seymour was in Houston ministering with Charles Parham before going to Los Angeles and being instrumental in the Azusa Street revival. A brother told me that William Seymour left Houston because of racism.

"Parham hoped to use Seymour to spread the Apostolic Faith message to African-American communities in Texas. Parham and Seymour held joint meetings in Houston, with Seymour preaching to black audiences and Parham addressing whites. While he supported racial segregation, Parham did believe that the African American community had a role to play in the mission of world evangelism and helping usher in the end times. "
