Gender neutral bible versions and the transgender movement

D
deltadom Aug 3, 2023

With the whole gender neutral bible translations such as the
New Revised Standard Version (NRSV), the Common English Bible (CEB), and the New International Version 2011 (NIV).

I worked in the Christian bookshop for some time and it interesting as zondervan which owns most of the bible translations changed the tniv back in the day so drastically that it didn't sell then rebranded it

There is over 25,000 changes the problem is that with these changes they changed like the son of man to the the son of mankind or man to person in the translation

Noone cared when they did this as with the modern translations as I use the nkjv which I don't mind.

The thing is as has had a societal impact as we are reading the word of God but it has been changed by men

I have read through alot of bible translations the whole way through as you have more obscure translations such as nt Wright's translation

Then you have the message which directly copies from the satanic bible which uses the phrase as above as below which is a direct quote from the satanic bible in the lord's prayer

As most of our bible translations are owned by zondervan as they bought out Thomas Nelson who was another bible manufacturer

There is even copyright claims on these scriptures

I want people to have a love of the bible and the scriptures but most bibles end up on dusty shelves or only brought out on Sundays , the vast majority of Christians have not read the bible the whole way through.

When I was in university I had atheists or others who had read the bible the whole way through but didn't have the holy spirit because they were doing a degree.im.theology

I need the holy spirit and Jesus presence more than anything

What is interesting is you read who translated the niv text

What most people don't know is there is slight variations in the Greek and Hebrew texts of the bible
I believe in the interancy of the bible In.the.greek and Hebrew manuscripts

The thing that breaks my heart is that they slowly changed the translations from men to person and women to person in our own Bibles and noone did nothing
