Man has an almost insatiable appetite for "man's wisdom". But for the wisdom of HAYAH, that only HE can give? Ah....not so much.
So how do we know who's who and what's what? DEMONSTRATION AND POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.
1Co_2:4Â And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:
So when this is lacking, man offers a cheap imitation. After all, being still and quiet together before the LORD is not very entertaining. And that's all that 99% of churchanity is today. A CHEAP imiatation. And unregenerate "church people" enjoy it's entertainment value. The more entertaining the better. Entertainment is not worship, my friends. Nor is it wisdom from above.
Its time to open the eyes and pray the LORD to open our ears to hear HIS voice, and not that of man.
How do we know HIS voice? My faith about this is anchored in Jer 23:22
Jer 23:22 But if they had stood in my counsel, and had caused my people to hear my words, then they should have turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings.
When I hear this message, I know where it is rooted. It is rooted in TRUTH, HONESTY, AND LIGHT. Why? Because it is HIS wisdom, wisdom man has little interest in. Why? Because HIS 10 commandments are a decalog of WISDOM. Yet man turns away from them and surrounds himself with sound and site to keep his/her conscience distracted so as to not think about what HAYAH EXPECTS OF US. Man's wisdom is rooted in the middle of the wide road. I mean, it's the way "church" is done the world over, right? Not matter what denomination you suckle. And if everyone believes it, if everyone is going to "church", then it must be of GOD, right? WRONG.
Now I know that might not seem to be entertaining. But this message from every single true prophet in the Bible is repeated over and over again. And more, it is HIS message, HIS word, HIS plea, HIS love, HIS longing, for man to turn away from the wickedness of man made ritualism in contemporary church performance, turn from all evil doings and evile ways, and take up the CROSS of holines, and purity, entering into worship and adoration, no matter where we find ourselves at any waking moment. Worship is not limited to some building or gothic shrine. Worship is our relationship with HIM united with YESHUA is HIS death, burial, and resurrection. Come one somebody.
Our life is not about "church". Our life is all about our CREATIOR and HIS great love for us. And when HE lives within, worship is easy and benevolence towards all men is a delight of heart. Believe it, or not.
