Preserving prayer is powerful

Q

I've been praying that God gives me an experience that the early church had I want to see visions and prophecies. I want to be possessed by the Holy Ghost. I want to see angels and Wonder's. Overall all the presence of God.

Why does God take so long to answer prayer?

Why did Moses, Joseph, and Noah have waiting periods in their life?

I want Pentecost. Is going to church on Sunday, paying tithes all there is to Christianity?

Brother one of the main reasons can be is we only want to experience God on our terms and not his, We can be quick to judge and condemn certain ways God has moved in the past and is moving today, and don't really want God like that, Gods spirit is grieved over our thoughts and words .

Another reason is God tests our faith, to see how much we really want his manifest presence. Ask, seek, and knock till he answers and opens the door. He likes desperation .

He often needs to prepare and mature us to be able to handle revelation and prophetic gifts, and to face the spiritual warfare that is experienced as we move into the deeper places and become sensitive to the unseen.

Quan,

This is my commandment, that you love one another. That is greater than anything you're currently seeking, because you are thinking like a child. Leave these childish things and seek Jesus Himself and His manifestation of love through you, not the trifles that are out of your reach and will all cease.
